Great spot to rent a kayak, hop right in the Loxahatchee River and paddle all day through unspoiled subtropical wilderness. The Outfitters will pick you up at Jonathan Dickinson Park once you've traversed most of the river from the shop through cypress swamps and out into the salty mangroves of the Jupiter Inlet. This is one of Florida's best paddles. Possibly the best!Recommended for:

This is "The Place" to rent a canoe or kayak or bike. The equipment is top grade and the staff is helpful and courteous. You can rent from their location in Riverbend Park, just minutes away from Shadey Acres. Pack a lunch and paddle around the park or venture up the Loxahatchee, either way its a great way to spend the day. Meet the animals of Riverbend Park, deer, possum, raccoons, peacocks, turkeys, hawks, owls some of the numerous birds species, gators and turtles just to name a few! Than head back to Shadey Acres to swim and relax after a great day of fun at the Park.
