The Cape Cod National Seashore is one of our Country's premiere shoreline parks. There are many places to explore from Eastham's Nauset Coastguard beach and bike trials to the Province Lands Visitor Center.

The protected seashore is so pretty. I love the sand dunes with the greenery growing in it. Very serene and relaxing.

Eastham is the "gateway" to the National Seashore! The visitor's center is located right on Rt 6, you can learn much about the Cape's history and the local environment and wildlife. Located at Salt Pond, you can start the bike or walking trail from here and it will bring you (a variety of paths) to Coast Guard Beach. There are also buses provided through the National Park to take you to Coast Guard or Nauset Light Beaches, among the most beautiful in the world.

The Nauset Light and Coast Guard Beaches are very close. We ride our bikes the mile or so to the beach. The parking lot for the shuttle to Coast Guard beach is close as well.

The National Seashore was established back in the 1960's. Much of the the Wellfleet and Eastham coastlines have been well preserved and maintained by the Seashore. There are amazing nature trails to wander and explore.

Gorgeous shoreline, although the water is always freezing! This is always a great place to hang out for an afternoon.

How lucky we are that this area has been saved from any development. It is absolutely beautiful and pristine, take your walking shoes and plan on a couple of hours to thoroughly enjoy this gift of Nature.

Great places to ride bikes, walk the sand dunes or lounge on the beach. You can find private places where you feel like you are the only person around or be in the heart of the activity.

Favorite beaches: Race Point or Herring Cove

I think you will find Truro to be one of the most beautiful places on Cape Cod!
Seventy percent of the town lies within the Cape Cod National Seashore, which has checked development and maintained the majestic beauty of the Atlantic coastline's towering sand cliff, pristine beaches and woodlands.
Provincetown: Beech Forest Trail, Race Point Road
National Seashore’s Province Land Center with an observation deck provides panoramic views of the tip of the cape and a walk to the Race-Point Lighthouse. You can also see the P-town airport from this deck.

Incredibly beautiful beaches up and down the National Seashore from Eastham to Provincetown! Bask in the sun and splash in the waves in Life Guard Protected sections, move just beyond the designated area to enjoy ocean play with your dog, or wander a little bit further and find yourself surrounded by spectacular uninhabited beaches, sand dunes and cliffs, ocean and sky. Visit Salt Pond and Race Point National Seashore Visitors' Centers to enjoy films, nature talks and walks, gift shops, beaches, and bike trails.
