A walk on the pier offers a picturesque view of Capitola. Restaurants provide a nice environment in which to each and kayak rentals are available.

The Capitola Wharf is small but mighty with culture. The fishermen on this wharf have been here selling bate and renting boats for years, just walking by and listening to them talk about a catch of the day will make you feel like a local. There is a small store on the end as well as a restaurant that has a cool old fishing museum feel to it. There are many items on the wall that could tell stories about a day at sea.

The best kept secret: On Saturday and Sundays in the summer the Wharf restaurant turns the roof into a LIVE band bar!! With 360 degree views and some of the best bartenders in town this place get poppin! There are some seasoned sailors and young dancin' folks too . . . regardless of your age or profession everyone is welcome here as long as you are smiling and enjoying the local music on the roof!

The catch: This is ONLY open from 1pm - 5pm (strict closing) so come on time and stay the whole time. Bring your dancing shoes and sunscreen.
