I'd give 3.5 stars if it was an option. The rooms were nicely decorated & clean. The breakfast was not special at all, but at least you're have food for the morning. The issue I had was that our room's wifi didn't work. I had to stand by the staircase to get it. However, it's in a great location between Lombard & Union Streets.

It harkens back to an older time, the way Capri Motel has its neon signs around Lombard Street, pointing the way to its location. The way these signs glow at night made me want to visit Capri Motel. The property, while acceptable and well-maintained, was not as glamorous as the vibrant lights led my romantic mind to believe.
There is parking and free Wi-Fi, which provides the major basics of any motel. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning in the lobby. Staff are friendly and the rooms are nice enough.

Budget-friendly Capri Motel is located in the heart of the Marina on a quiet street a block from busy Lombard. Behind its flashy neon signs and 70's/80's style facade, are modern boutique style guestrooms. I expected floral blanket covers and drab carpeting, but instead was surprised to see chic carpeting, and modern beds with white covers. The room has a flat screen tv, mini-fridge, and even an iron/ironing board. For a motel, the inside of the room looks almost too trendy, but it's a nice change from the old 80's style lobby. They provide free parking which is first-come first-serve; great for this neighborhood. Snagging a parking spot is ideal, as Capri is close enough but far enough so that you can explore the Marina/Cow Hollow's many upscale eateries and boutiques, or check out Crissy Fields and the Golden Gate Bridge. Free Wi-Fi is also available and complimentary breakfast is served from 8:00-10:30am.
