You get what you pay for, real value. This hotel is in quiet location and was quite difficult to reach, even if you did take a bus it is a bit of a walk. However, this is a popular and well equipped hotel (you have tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi access, a hairdryer and towels in your room, baby-cots are available, you have the option of a free wake up call service and there are lavatories in the hallway of each floor). The rooms are relatively spacious and however, the bathrooms are somewhat small. The staffs are very helpful and are experienced in dealing with a range of people.Recommended for:

It's friendly, which is always a good start. The staff are really helpful. There is good desk space, and rooms are clean and tidy. Some places just have a nice feel to them and this is one of those. Even the breakfast room invites you in.
Breakfast and WiFi are included which is a massive bonus. Combined with the good desk space and big windows, I'd say this hotel makes for a good bet for those on business.
It's fantastically located, right by Paddington station. This gives you access to trains to several major cities, the Underground and the Heathrow Express. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from in nearby Notting Hill, so if you are here on business and need to catch a break, you won't be short of options.Recommended for:

The Cardiff Hotel is a lovely townhouse styled property a short walk from Paddington's stations making it very easily accessed.
As it is undergoing renovations, this hotel is modernizing all of their guest rooms with new lighting and electrical fixtures to enhance their customer experience. Thoughtful placement of power outlets and light switches near headboards are just little perks in these rooms others include drying racks for the radiators and large windows providing lots of natural light. When booking the street facing rooms have a fantastic view of the lovely square opposite the hotel.
While looking around I had the opportunity to chat with the owner about his plans to fully renovate the entire location as time allows.
The Cardiff is able to accommodate a number of different room options, all of which come with shower facilities; though they have a few single rooms that have detached WC’s. Each guest is eligible for the complementary hot breakfast and the hotel is equipped with complementary wifi. When booking 28 days in advance with the hotel there is a discount available.
The staff were incredibly friendly and provided me the opportunity to have a really good feel for the atmosphere. I would most definitely stay here myself.
