Culebra is a small island off the East Coast of Puerto Rico. Access by ferry from the less - than - awesome Fajardo Ferry Terminal, several ferries/day, or by plane from Fajardo or San Juan. Mellow, low key, less popular than Vieques and therefore less crowded. Everyone gets around by jeep, scooter, or golf cart. Lots of water activities, laying ...

    Parrot Cay

Set on a private island, Parrot Cay is as synonymous with luxury as it is with Turks and Caicos. The world-renowned spa sanctuary is the height of pampering, where your co-residents will likely be regular A-listers such as Donna Karan, Bruce Willis and Sir Paul McCartney. 1,000 acres of lush grounds are the playground of the elite. My husband and I rented a house on the island for our honeymoon last year (Casa de Playa). It was perfect and the home owner was amazing. Each beach is unique its own way, allowing you to see a different one each day or to find the perfect one for you. You rarely ever see more than six people on ...

I came here a long time ago so abut of a foggy memory... Love that you can go topless & not worry about creepers. Very laid back. I came here with a well known celebrity friend of mine & everyone respectfully gave us our space. They even threw fresh caught fish right on the BBQ & that was the icing ...

Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas and is a popular cruise line stop from Miami on Royal or Carnival. If you are cruising, you can get off and visit local shops, or take a day pass trip to one of the hotels to enjoy the beaches, pools, and other amenities for about $25. If you have a little extra ...

Vieques is small and beautiful, mostly water activities to do, but also shopping and spas. People are friendly enough, and the food is delicious but a little pricey. Great for a family, maybe not the best for backpacking.

    Ocho Rios

I loved my time in Ocho Rios! It's a bit strange because it is one of those ares that is definitely set up just for tourists. But it did allow you to have a taste of Jamaica even if it was a sanitized version.

Went on a Royal Caribbean cruise, absolutely recommended for those who are looking for adventure and shopping. 7 Mile beach is a terrific place to lay down all day along with the stingrays (this boys won't hurt anybody!) Also you can find very good deals on some ivy brands (Cartier, Mont Blanc, etc.) and diamonds from "Diamond International"

If you want a seriously isolated beach on St. Barth, check out Anse de Colombier. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach from the closest parking, but most people arrive by boat (lots of snorkeling trips come here). But if you want the perfect, sparsely populated white sand beach overlooking turquoise water, this beach will deliver.

Guanica is a small town on the southern coast of Puerto Rico. It's definitely worth a stop on a PR tour, or for great diving. There isn't much to the town, just some places to eat and a lot of beach. Great for relaxing and swimming and water sports.
