The white colored Aqueduct is one of the most prominent features in Lapa, the neighborhood known for its old school colonial buildings and lively nightlife. The Aqueduct was constructed in the mid 18th century and is large in size.Recommended for:Nightlife Lovers

This aqueduct is the main landmark for the Lapa area of Rio. This area is an amazing street party location often filled with the music of bands and/or drums. There is a trolly line that goes from Santa Teresa down to Lapa and goes right across the top of the aqueduct. You can get off on the stop right before the trolly goes over.

Great place to enjoy the great music of Rio. If you want to explore the rich musical culture of Brazil, this is the place to go at night. You'll hear lots of different genres of brazilian music. From forro to electronic music.
