Started out with a hour to hour and a half wait when we first arrived, waited maybe 40 minutes on July 5th at dinner time so overall pretty quick. Planning my first trip I was excited about trying some NY Italian and it was great. The atmosphere was that old time feel with a updated presence. The pic is of the chicken parm which like all their dishes is served family style. I recommend keeping that in mind when ordering, the portions are pretty large. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was great.Recommended for:

you should go with a crowd, there is only huge family style portions here and no 1/2 size. salad was wonderful, field greens with balsamic and gorgonzola, cherry tomatoes, walnuts and cranberries. Pasta was very unremarkable, but very good bread with all meals. Waiter was nice enough, but you could tell he had been doing his job for 30++ years. What I was not happy about is that he didn't even ask if we want the rest boxed up, just stacked all plates on top and whisked it away. As soon as we left, there was some homeless person right outside, rummaging through the trash for recycling that may have enjoyed a still warm meal.
