Carpaccio is an Italian restaurant with a large outdoor terrace located in the Bal Harbour shopping mall. A classic in the south Florida restaurant scene, you are bound to enjoy the moderate prices, consistent service and interesting outdoor scene.Recommended for:

Bustling outdoor patio, tantalizing food, nouveau riche diners, and ocean breezes... This must be South Beach! Wrong. Think again. Carpaccio of Bal Harbour is the place to be once the sun has set, the carte blanche has made its rounds, and the Louboutin stilettos need to make their debut. While seated, splashing sounds of the Bal Harbour fountains mix with varied conversations from foreign lands creating an intoxicating atmosphere, both splendid and alluring. Who are all these people? Where did they come from? More importantly, will they invite me to sip mojitos with them on their yacht? Although Carpaccio has a great assortment of pizza and pasta dishes, their salads and meat entrees should not be missed. A favorite is the Mista salad: it is chopped radicchio, arugula, endive, mushrooms in balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, diced tomato, and extra virgin oil. The flavors are fresh and fantastic. Order this salad with a pizza. It's great to split with a friend. Another incredibly mouth-watering option is the Lombata Milanese. This is a flattened veal chop lightly breaded and sauteed, topped with fresh diced tomatoes, arugula, lemon, radicchio, juice, balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Once you've had this dish, you'll be dreaming about it long after your vacation is done. Although the other dinner guests would have you guessing otherwise, the prices are affordable enough so that you can visit Carpaccio more than once on your vacation. Your dining experience will definitely bring you back for an encore!
