It took over fifty years to complete Santo Domingo, with the Church being inaugurated in the early 19th century. It is on the northern edge of the Plaza de Armas.

Great spot for indie music mixed in to pop, rock, R&B, and hip-hop. The crowd depends on the night; sometimes it's college students peppered with an older crowd there to appreciate the band, and other times it's the fashionable indie crowd of Chile. The cover charge can generally be avoided by finding a list to be on and entering early.
