Maybe my favorite bar in all of LA. The atmosphere is never pretentious, parking usually isn't bad, no cover, and I almost always spot an obscure famous person. *ahem* Aziz Ansari

Welcome back the 80's and foozball baby! Oh ya, the $2.50 PBR. The wife, myself and the yelp peeps had to hit this place up since it was in the area and it was a bar. It was intresting. The music ranged from party all the time to Duran Duran to some aha aha take on me. When I seen the dude with the handlebar mustaache I felt like it was bare knuckle brawl time. It was also entertaining to see the Tom Selleck face on some Magnums in the vending machine, along with some lubricant and some other specialty item by the chewing gum.
We played some foozball with one of the pieces missing legs, so anyone on that side would lose lol.
This is an entertaining venue for a happy hour, or even a midnight dive to get your drink on, play some fooz, and enjoy some Eddie Murphy tune.

If you feel nostalgic for a Portland hangout, this is the place to go. 5-9pm, the most banging Happy Hour in all of LA (or at least in Silverlake) - $3 wells and $2 Pabsts just like in the Northwest. Of course, that familiarity comes from having a sister bar in Seattle. A mish-mash decor of Tiki transitioning into Mexican party supplies into old school games scattering the back area. It's all about personal experiences and the bartender (forgot his name) was a cool guy who suggested an outdoor taco truck (now sadly gone) as a quick run for food. We got him some tacos and stayed until closing and ended up at the Astro with two girls we had nothing in common with except for being drunk. Fun night overall and there was always someone to chat with when I went. It's been a while, but someday, I'll be back.

Comfy booths, vintage photobooth, foosball, vending machines, cheap beer, and awesome decor; seems to have a Dia de Los Muertos and tiki related theme.
Gets crowded at night, so try to snag a booth when you see someone leaving.
