Located in the Loire Valley of France, Chambord was built by Francois I who ruled Franced during the early 16th century. Francois was instrumental in convincing Leonardo Da Vinci to leave Italy and come live in France. When Da Vinci crossed the Alps to take Francois' up on his offer (DaVinci was promised a chateau in the Loire Valley) he brought with him the "Mona Lisa" making this one of the great investments of all time.

Very nice spot, but i got disapointed because there is almost no furniture.Then i learned that it was just a place where people stayed when hunting. Worth a visit.
Lugar muito interssante, fiquei um pouco desapontado com o interior que quase não tem mobilia.Depois entendi que era um alojamento para caça...
