Changi Airport is one of my all time faves and it's not because of the sign that says 'We execute drug smugglers' either. It's 'cause there's not too many airports in the world where you can stroll through a tropical garden (Terminal 2), free, big screen cinemas in Terminals 2 & 3, a fish spa, a Balinese themed rooftop pool (that'll cost you $13.91 at Changi's Ambassador Transit Hotel, but well worth it!), XBox360 or Playstation stations for free, and rain showers on tap at the Rainforest Lounge. Makes Heathrow look like hell.

This is probably one of the most modern and expansive airports that I've ever been to. Not only is there is a transit hotel, but there are rest areas with reclining chairs which gives transit passengers a chance to rest before their next flight. In addition, there's free wifi and computer stands throughout the airport, which gives travelers an opportunity to use the internet.

I've never experienced an International Airport like this and I may never again. The shopping and food outlets on offer are extensive and various, although the prices aren't that much of a bargain. Add to that free Wi-Fi and plentiful free internet terminals as well as day rooms, complete gyms and easy access to the city, and you have a heck of a deal. I also flew in and out of Singapore Business Class, which made my sort stay here double blessed.
