What an AMAZING city! The fabulous diversity and friendliness permeating this area is intoxicating. There is so much historical foundation in this city, and it's just gorgeous. Not to mention the Isle of Palms beach is only 10 miles away and has some of the greatest beach areas in the entire country. Be sure to see as many historical landmarks as you can, including restaurant-historical landmarks. It's just amazing.

This is a really lovely place to visit. The homes and the streets are like something from a picture book. You need to just walk around to discover the charm. We were here on one of the First Friday Art Walks (4 times a year) which was a lot of fun.

The most charming city in the US which boasts one-of-a-kind cuisine (the best shrimp and grits, BBQ and Southern nouveau around). The people are lovely and friendly, the architecture is always picturesque, the beaches are clean and beautiful and the Southern accents seal the deal.

Downtown Charleston is something everyone should see. it is a wonderful step back into the past. Being the "holy city" we have some amazing churches and graveyards to check out. there is also fantastic seafood, friendly people and beautiful scenery.

Charleston is a great old southern city. One of the best features is it's historic homes and gardens. Of course some come here for the beaches. One of the best times to visit is during the Spoleto Festival every summer when the city comes alive with arts events in many venues from the historic theatres to churches, and downtown parks.

This is one the most beautiful romantic places in the USA. I can't get come here enough. The food is amazing from McCardy's to Husk to local spots like Vickeries or Fish. The people are some of the kindest , always happy to have a chat and catch up. Sullivan's Island has a gorgeous beach and Poe's Bar has a wonderful burger. If you have a chance to head here, do it.
