Best sand on St. Thomas, best water for snorkeling (AND SEEING FISH). Coki has a great view up the sound to te BVI, too and a friendly beach bar and accomodating beach vendors. This is a popular public beach and not so great to be alone... The beach is long but not so good for swimming at the far end. ...

    Bolongo Bay Beach

    4.5
    14 reviews

Bolongo Bay is a small hotel, locally owned by the same family forever. It isn't the Ritz but, I like to stay in small hotels, locally owned, they have a great staff, really good food at the Lobster Grille and the best beach bar in the Caribbean. Some of the rooms have been remodeled and they are comfortable. People have ...

If you love to look at expensive yachts and shop at boutique stores, then plan a stop at Yacht Haven Grande! My favorite restaurant there is Grande Cru and the bartenders Dave and Max will make you the most delicious drinks you've ever tasted (and the food is pretty darn great too!)!

    Lindquist Beach

    4.5

For an uncrowded beach try this. Since it is a new beach, most people don't know about it. Not as smooth and sandy as Magen's but very pleasant.

Right on Main St. in the tourist shopping area, this old house shelters courtyards, stairways and nooks in quiet serenity. Where you catch the ferry to St John; about 20 minute ride, $6.00 per person one way; leaves on the hour all day. Take safari/taxi to Trunk Bay for the day. Lots of restaurants/bars right in Cruz Bay (where you land), of course, shopping ...
