I'm torn on this one. Like many old theatres in London, the seating must be designed for VERY short people. Absolutely no leg room regardless of where you sit. But, its a beautiful old theatre with lots of good shows coming thru it. Still worth every penny.

My mission in London, was to find out if there is a market for Cheapeats and if in fact, I could find some. I got a tip from a local, who told me to head to Islington, which is in North London. I’m game for an adventure, so I hop on the tube and head north. Islington is quick ride ...

Two floors club in Regent Street. Reservation/list strictly needed. The club is not very big and gets easily crowded during the weekend. Very nice atmosphere and music: disco/pop on the top floor, house downstairs. Tables are pretty small and with no seats, you can easily find yourself in the middle of someone else's table...

Been here a couple of times, on both occasions to see the resident improv group, The Comedy Store Players. The group consists of Andy Smart, Paul Merton, Neil Mullarkey, Richard Vranch, Josie Lawrence and Lee Simpson. On both occasions it has been simply brilliant! Great audience participation, hilarious outcomes and scenarios, all on top of an amazing atmosphere with bar ...

My wife and I went on the Nairobi to Zanzibar 28 day Safari. It was all exciting as we always dreamt of touring Africa, seeing the big 5 and the Gorillas. Little did we know that in the following weeks we would be only metres away from a massive silverback and a one month old baby, then getting to see ...

Despite the fact that cycling in London is a bit of a nightmare, the Barclays cycle hire scheme (or "Boris bikes" as the locals call it) is a brilliant way to get around London, especially if you're adverse to the cramped underground! Like any city-wide cycle hire, you pick up your bike at one docking station and drop it at ...

It's exclusive, it's not cheap, and you'll have to book and go early unless you know a member - but these cocktails are world famous and if you're a cocktail lover this is the place to go in the UK. The bartenders can guess exactly what you'd like. Ask for something without consulting the menu - it's more fun.

I'm the third generation of my family to buy umbrellas from this wonderful emporium - as quintessentially British as it's possible to be, with the ultimate accessory for the British weather. The classic: a slim-rolled gentleman's 'London' umbrella, with Whangee cane handle will set you back £75.

This is one for the real nightowls and those who love drama, cabaret and anything a little bit strange. The Box is constantly pushing boundaries with its experimental performances.
