I've stayed at this weekly rental apartment twice and am fairly certain I'd like to retire here for the rest of my life. Right in the middle of historic Todi (itself named the Most Livable City in the World), La Gardenia is where you get to pretend you're Italian for a week. The two-floor flat is at least 300 years old, has three bedrooms, laundry, etc, and a view to end all views. Walk five minutes to restaurants, a gelateria, museums, Roman city walls, etc, and take a train or bus to anywhere in Umbria. A great price, too!
