Right now, you can't do any better for brunch in downtown Palm Springs. Who cares it the wait is 30-45 minutes on weekends? The line moves fast, and once you're seated and slurping up a kale smoothie, munching on a bacon tasting flight, and snacking on chilaquiles, you won't care. Tip: Sign yourself in on the wait list, then head down the street to Koffi coffee shop for an espresso to nurse while you're waiting for your table to be called.

Cheeky's is a very popular restaurant for breakfast and weekend brunch. They open at 8:00 a.m. (time may vary by season) and there is usually a wait list that forms starting about 30-60 minutes after opening. If you arrive later in the morning, just sign-in at the host station. Request a table outside for an alfresco dining experience. It's also Fido-friendly outside!

Popular and fun brunch spot in Uptown Palm Springs. You'll always encounter a wait, but it's not a long one if you're not in a large party, and it's certainly worth it. Their sausage, biscuits and homemade jam was amazing! Wish we had more room to try more dishes as everything looked delicious.Recommended for:Foodies

I wasn't expecting such a delicious treat in the desert. The breakfast is worth the 25 minute wait. I tried an assortment of goodies over two breakfasts on the same trip. Will definitely go back to try more. I would recommend the eggs benedict...but honestly...everything i tried was very good. Unexpected deliciousness!

It's way out in North Palm Springs, but it's one of the best breakfast experiences you could have. Be prepared to wait in a long line, and if you eat bacon, don't miss the bacon flight. Their house coffee is almost as good as the french press at the Ace/King's Highway.

The wait for worth it at Cheeky's...just go around the patio and wait in the bar...they will take care of you! Order anything from the menu..but be sure to get the flight of bacon! Patio seating is really the place to be...the umbrellas and misters do their job of keeping everyone cool.

This is a MUST for breakfast.
Get there early or be willing to wait at least an hour for a table on the patio. We went with a big group so I was lucky enough to try multiple menu items. All are delish! Some of the standouts.... Bacon Flight and the Maple Sage Sausage.
Tip: While waiting for your table go next door to Birba's out door bar and order a Bloody Mary.

Not only highly reviewed, but one of the few spots open outside any hotel, Cheeky's was bumpin' on our Sunday morning visit.
Luckily they serve strong drink in addition to their great breakfasts, as it was clear I was going to skip the hangover and just go for the two-day binge. I was on vacation, after all.
The rest of the strip is full of closed banks, furniture stores, and hi profile boutiques. During the week, the area's probably slammed with small dogs and big hair.
We'll certainly come back the next time we're in Palm Springs. Great breakfast!
