Great place to pick up your picnic grub. The cheesemonger was very friendly and introduced us to some interesting tasting cheese. (there's a good selection) Add meat, condiments and coffee and you're good to go!

    House of Prime Rib

    0.13 mi from Cheese Plus
    47 reviews

One would think cutting down on stuffing face would be a good suggestion following Thanksgiving. Not for me! I made sure I prepared myself for a Black Friday dinner here with a small group. It was my first time here, and I made sure that it was a memorable one. I chose their largest cut of prime rib, the Henry ...

You can't beat a 24 hour shop that sells donuts! Bob's is awesome at all times of day. For some reason, the donuts taste better after visiting any of the bars surrounding Bob's.

Great food and atmosphere for a romantic date. My wife and I both enjoy this restaurant. Probably a five star if I was just comparing within SF, but I give it a four. Just not on par with places such as Charlie Trotter's (Chicago) and Picasso (Las Vegas).

    Loving Cup

    0.24 mi from Cheese Plus

Rice pudding was a new taste for me, but I couldn't resist a livingsocial deal that was offered around the time Loving Cup opened. Like Rich to Riches in NYC, this is an establishment that offers different flavors of rice pudding. It's delicious and unusual, so worth a try.

I'm not typically a sandwich guy; I like knives and forks, what can I say? Jonas on hyde, though; well, they won me over. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, their sandwiches are fresh, made-to-order, and delicious, and their ingredients are quality. What more could you ask for? Conveniently located right on the Hyde street cable car line, hop ...

    Miller's East Coast Deli

    0.16 mi from Cheese Plus
    7 reviews

For anyone that's spent any time in NYC, the minute you walk into Miller's you get transported back to Manhattan or Brooklyn, without the East coast accent (or dare i say attitude). The employees are super friendly. And there were several cute older couples who are obviously regulars--, ordering Matzo ball soup and potato Latkes without needing to see a ...

    Escape From New York Pizza

    0.07 mi from Cheese Plus
    8 reviews

Escape from New York has pretty tasty slices. They're noticeably different from the slices served at other pizzerias in San Francisco. While I'm not a fan of the downtown location, the Polk Street location serves their slices perfectly heated and not crispy like a cracker. The pizza with potato and pesto is understandably a popular choice. It's delicious.

My wife and friend were greeted at the door by one of the most friendly waitresses ever. She told us it would be a "short twenty minute wait" and as we glanced at the food being served up on the tables were sold that this would perfect for us. Our "twenty minute" wait turned into no more than 10 and ...

There's nothing to dislike about Crepe House. While it's not as unique a brunch experience as some of the fancy restaurants, it's unassuming and comfortable for a group or solo dining. Everything they have tastes delicious. In fact, I would even come here at night.

    Gary Danko

    0.75 mi from Cheese Plus
    45 reviews

Gary Danko offers a fine dining experience, though I feel it could've been "finer." While the food was amazing, the tables are placed too close together. Any semblance of privacy is completely lost as the neighboring table is literally two inches from yours. When I'm paying this much for food, I really expect great ambiance. Service was amazing and beyond ...

    0.91 mi from Cheese Plus
    31 reviews

This Pacific Heights outpost of the Mission's famed South Indian restaurant offers the same delicious curries, rice dishes, and, of course ,dosas, as its parent eatery. But the real draw here is the cocktail menu, masterfully constructed by Jonny Raglin, of Absinthe and Nopa fame. Think spice-driven cocktails with suprising ingredients like curry, Indian yogurt, ginger, and cilantro.
