Being lactose intolerant, just the name of this place sends chills down my spine. But they serve lactose free fare as well. Their chicken tenders are crispy, fresh, and delicious. I have tasted some of their grilled cheese sandwiches and must say, they are the bomb. They're open late (and are right next to a few after-hours bars) and on the weekends this place can get RIDICULOUSLY busy. But I assure you, well worth the wait. Especially if you've already had a couple drinks elsewhere, but don't be afraid to continue with the libations here.

cheesies does grilled cheese in any way imaginable. definitely a late night drunk spot, they recently expanded and have a full bar and tvs. my favorite is the mac, and for less than $10 you can fill up on some awesome comfort food.

I found this place when I googled "things that will make you fat." This didn't detour me though, as I love anything that involves cheese and carbs. And butter. Like Paula Deen, I usually won't cook things that don't have a high butter content.
So I was venturing out on national cheeseburger day (yes, this is a celebrated holiday, and yes, this should pop up too under "things that make you fat"), and I was trying to attempt to go to one of the numerous bars that were offering $1 cheeseburgers.
Unfortunately, after going to two and they were both sold out of burgers, I gave up on my burger crusade. But I wasn't giving up on the night, as I had promised myself something nutritiously horrible to eat after a 14 hour workday.
It was already 10pm and my options were dwindling, so I pulled out my trusty iPhone and started to yelp and google. I found this place, and when I walked in I knew I had found my haven for junk food goodness.
They have a pretty short menu, and there aren't really any options aside from grilled cheese or pizza. The grilled cheeses range from simple to complex.
I chose the Mac n'cheese grilled cheese with sweet potato fries. It was so creamy, and super cheesy, totally worth the artery blockage. Its served with a little cup of tomato soupy sauce, perfect for dipping! The sweet potato fries were alright, I'm pretty sure they were frozen (ick!). They're served with ranch.
The boyfriend got a grilled cheese with blue cheese and hot sauce, and I think chicken? I wouldn't know, because he liked his sandwich so much that he wasn't much of a sharer.
The only negative was that their price per sandwich is somewhat high, but they're not too pricy. Also, they didn't have any cheesy options for soup.. I would have thought they'd have a broccoli cheddar or something. They do have a ton of appitizer options.
Other awesome facts:
-This place is also a bar, so there are tons of TVs, and all of their beers/drinks are $4
-Some of the tables are chalkboards, so there were tons of people coloring.
-This place is open until 3am
-They serve pizza
