Chelsea Lodge

318 West 20th Street, New York City, NY 10011
3 reviews

Not the fanciest place in town, but certainly not the worst and you are located in a great part of Manhattan - Chelsea. The rooms are a bit tight on space but you may find yourself hardly noticing the lack of space because you're always out exploring, unless of course you opt for the suites, which cost more but can ...

    The Highline

    0.19 mi from Chelsea Lodge

The High Line is a beautiful and unusual way to see NYC. It once was a New York Subway line that has been turned into a park and walking area complete with art installations and gardens. It's nice to see parts of the city from above the sidewalk too!

    Barneys New York CO-OP Chelsea

    0.15 mi from Chelsea Lodge
    4 reviews

Skews more urban and younger than the mother ship. Great for jeans, t-shirts, and other casual clothing. The Chelsea outlet has a good selection of men's and women's. There is also a good sized Co-op floor at the main store. Soho is women's only.

    The Beach at Dream Downtown

    0.18 mi from Chelsea Lodge
    4 reviews

Get super swanky and sexy in the summertime! This is the hottest pool downtown. Hot bikini beauties and bronzed bodies everywhere. There's a "beach" area in the back, complete with sand and cabanas. We enjoyed a nice lunch of lobster tacos and a turkey wrap by the pool before transforming it into a chic pool party.

Laughter is a great cure for everyday stress. Gotham Comedy Club is the doctor that writes and delivers the prescription. The stand up talent ranges from successful novices to the monarchs of comedy. I recently attended a comedy show starring D.L. Hughley and embracing his stand up in a small intimate setting was priceless. Laughter filled the air while the ...

Great for a late night, drunken time. Usually the happy hour is all territorial locals, but after midnight, it's a free for all and always crazy fun.

Must get on their mailing list to get the heads up and "dress" accordingly to shop at the warehouse sale since there's no real fitting rooms. Great deals on shoes and bags are the quickest to go...and stay focus! it is competitive in there.

Heart of Chelsea is a top-notch vet, with a dedicated and loving staff, who do everything in their power to put both you and your pet at ease. Lovely wine bar in East Village. Chic decor, great for dates or bigger groups of friends. Wines have strange descriptions but are a good selection. The bartender is a bit stiff, he kind of looks like a butler, in a good way :) Must-have their Nutella panino dessert with vanilla ice-cream. So so good! And not too sweet.

    High Line Park

    0.36 mi from Chelsea Lodge

This newly built, rised park is a new hot spot in NYC. You can walk along the park and look down the city from above. A lot of cultural functions are held here, each section is well connected to the local transportation. Art, nature, culture all together; highly recommended if you haven't been to NYC for last few years.

Broadway is one of my favorite places in New York. Being a musical enthusiast, Broadway shows are a must-see. Each musical has their own designated theater. I've been to Mama Mia, Chicago and Phantom of the Opera, each one excellent in their own way.

The epicentre of a bustling mix of activities, Union Square is a must stop in downtown NYC. The park is great for a lunch break on a sunny day, although sketchy at night.
