An interesting market with cute cupcake stores and art gallery exhibits. The interior is a mix of old industrial grit and cutting edge lighting. It's also huge.Recommended for:Art & Design Lovers

Part of the old National Biscuit Company (1890's), this old bakery has been restored to house restaurants, shops and bars, including: The Green Table, The Tippler, Sarabeth's, Morimoto, Jacques Torres Chocolates, Buddakan, Lobster Place and many others. The Chelsea Market is the perfect place to wander, shop and taste.

It was by accident that we stumble upon this Market. We were too early for a reservation at a nearby resto, we went in here during Christmas holiday and going into the market every food stores display are so appetizing. The dress shops are so whimsicle. If you are intrested in different tea and spices you will find them here as well. I would love to go back here and enter each store and bars inside. Love it!

Excellent place to check out some great food vendors, tons of food stores and shops. Indoors, so it's protected from the harsh weather outside. The only pitfall are the lines for the bathrooms - crazy long.

Some people hate this place now, saying it's touristy and has gone down hill. I disagree. The produce is fresh and cheaper that comparison stores. The collection of places is nice to have in one area. The fact that the high line is so close is also a plus. My recommendations include the non-prepared food (which is overrated and overpriced), such as the grocery (towards the back) and seafood shop (albeit this one is a bit overpriced).
