    Chelsea Market

    99 reviews

You're already going to be in the neighborhood trekking along the Highline while in NYC. Why not stop inside this gorgeous foodie/artisanal/boozy marketplace and spend a little cheddar? Bonus: The Food Network studios are located upstairs in the building, and it's not uncommon to see some of the famous foodie faces picking out produce in the shops.

Absolutely loved this place. Live music, buckets of beer, good people, and one of the best views. All that adds up to the kind of atmosphere that I want when I'm looking to have a great time!!! Highly recommend!

Is it just me or does this food taste better when you’re drunk? Trick question--of course it’s not just me. If it’s 4am and you have a hankering for some mac’n’cheese, this is your spot. If it’s 7pm and you’re thinking of where to enjoy a nice meal, I’d suggest one of the other 2 million restaurants in NYC.

    Cafe Grumpy

    12 reviews

GREAT coffeeshop! Coffee is delicious, and the atmosphere is good. If you enjoy coffee and cafe culture, don't forget to visit Cafe Grumpy when you are in NYC. The flat white was different than I normally had, but it was very good. Although, working on laptop is prohibited here. I hope there are more cafes like Cafe Grumpy are out ...

    Del Posto

    8 reviews

The best Italian restaurant in NYC. The dining room feels like you have almost gone back in time, to a grander New York scene. The food transports you to Italy. The service is perfect without being overly stuffy. Note: a la carte is no longer offered in the dining room.

    Billy's Bakery

I’m a sucker for peanut butter cookies, and Billy serves up a mean offering. More cupcakes here, which I still don’t quite get, but hey, to each his own. Give it a try.

Wow! The food at Aldea is amazing. The mid-season appetizers, like the warm cauliflower salad, are spot on. And the seafood dishes are perfectly cooked. I would return tomorrow.

Very good Thai food at very reasonable prices...especially the great lunch deals. Huge selection to choose from. While the good isn't spicy it's very flavorful. Cool looking space and good looking staff.

    Old Homestead Steakhouse

The best and oldest steakhouse in the city. In my opinion they make the definitive French Onion Soup. The Chefs bread special is incredible. If you plan on going during peak times make sure you have a reservation.

The Green Table - Chelsea Market

Yes! Real food! Quality and variety like farm! The lentils and lamb sausage were amazing! Chicken pot pie is delicious! I couldn't find anything interesting from the desert at Menu. So, I rated 4 stars. If they had something different, it would be "the cherry on the pie"!

    Lobster Place

    4 reviews

This place was amazing. With live lobsters, lobsters to buy, lobster bisque and lobster rolls it is pretty much lobster galore. There are different kinds of fresh fish as well to buy and a fantastic sushi bar made with all of the fresh fish there. I took an out of town visitor there and am anxious to get back for ...
