The bell hop took more than 20 minutes to bring up our luggage. However the concierge was very helpful. All of the staff were very friendly. Our room was beautiful, definitely request a room with a view. Bathroom was a but small, but the luxury of the living area made up for it

The restaurant "Sixteen" is a can't-miss. The food is amazing, the service is first class, and the views of Chicago from the sixteenth story are spectacular. If you are feeling adventurous, try the blind chef's tasting, you won't be disappointed.

The Peninsula is certainly a nice hotel but it is doubtful that it deserves the five-star rating. The hotel is so centrally located that the street noise permeates even the highest rooms, making for a rather loud sleeping experience. Also, the rooms were just a bit small for such a price, but that might just be because we were traveling ...

A beautiful old hotel with a lot of flair. If you prefer the 'W' style, you might not like this, but it is nice to stay at places with some history. This is by no means run down, it's still quite luxurious, but has patina at the same time, in a good way.

I've stayed at many hotels in Downtown Chicago and this is my favorite! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable! Trendy but not over-the-top and within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

When you get to the very tippy top of what one can possibly pay to stay one night in a hotel, it’s the details that distinguish the 5-star properties from one another. The hoteliers behind the Elysian, which opened less than two years ago, clearly had kept that in mind. Though the building is brand new, it feels like the ...

Room-wise, it was fine. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern. HOWEVER, as a business hotel, it was really distracting to have so much loud thumping music in the lobby to the point that I could barely hear what the people were saying when I was checking in and out. It's also a bit out of the way. ...

This relatively new boutique Klimpton hotel seems like it’s still developing its identity. With what seemed to be half business travelers and half vacationers, the interior was all clean and quirky chic. As one example, there was a large hunting dog pillow perched against the lobby banquette, as various game bird silhouettes “flew” overhead in black and white framed photos. ...
