Very Good! - 83% of guests recommend

My friend and I were road tripping across America and our second to last night was in Chicago. We booked The Palmer House as we wanted a nice place because we were tired of staying in random hotels along the way. We also needed a place that was pet friendly and to our surprise this gorgeous hotel was! The puppy ...

I didn't get inside of the building but just from the outside you can say that it's one of the most awesome highrises in Chicago. Impossible to walk around without noticing this huge and beautiful building.

Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

the Drake is a classic and more traditional hotel conveniently located near the Michigan ave shopping area. The ambiance of the hotel is old school but the rooms are kept fresh and clean and do not feel "old", just classic. Many of the higher floor rooms will offer a wonderful view of the lake.

Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

A treat for business travelers, elegant, functional, and super comfortable. However, it is massive and somewhat commercial. Service was dynamic and efficient. The area is good, just a few mins walk to 'Magnificent Mile' and 'Millennium Park. Do explore: visit the 'Art Institute of Chicago’; it has a great Impressionism and post-impressionism collection.

Favorite downtown Chicago hotel. If I'm in the Loop, it's the Palmer House. But up here, I love me the W. Great bar, great lounge upstairs. Nice pool. Perfect W service by staff. Excellent location. Use the concierge desk for all dinner reservations, you never know... might get a comped dessert or round of drinks! Skip the restaurant. Way better ...

The Hard Rock Hotel IS Rock N Roll. It is like Metal had a baby with Rhythm N Blues and this hotel is the result. The room was so cool with retro 60’s style furniture. I really liked the new shag carpets and the white trio of circular mirrors on the wall. The staff is so friendly, you really do ...

This hotel is pretty breathtaking. I walked in and was in awe of the lobby and then someone told me that the lobby was actually on the seventh floor. The actual lobby is opulent and open, with well-picked paintings on every wall. It blends seamlessly into the Alllium restaurant and bar/lounge (if this place weren’t so close to the Mag ...

The vibe here is business professional, but the outgoing staff made me feel right at home. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. For stellar views of Michigan Avenue and the lake, ask for a room facing east on one of the higher floors. Guests also have access to a gym, complete with pool and hot tub. Even if you're not ...

I stayed here for work a couple of times shortly after it opened. The heated pool on the 17th floor was really nice! And while it was chilly out on the terrace, I can imagine how nice it will be in the summer months. The rooms are a little more cramped than other Kimpton hotels (I usually stay at the ...

Excellent! - 92% of guests recommend

When you get to the very tippy top of what one can possibly pay to stay one night in a hotel, it’s the details that distinguish the 5-star properties from one another. The hoteliers behind the Elysian, which opened less than two years ago, clearly had kept that in mind. Though the building is brand new, it feels like the ...

    MileNorth

    Hotel Class:

A modern hotel located in Streeterville, MileNorth is a good pick for those who like updated décor and proximity to lots of shopping. Though MileNorth is close to lots of shops and restaurants, the street it’s on doesn’t feel too busy. The dim lobby is easy on the eyes, but also sorta funny, since it features an abstract-light design behind ...

I wasn't very impressed with Hotel Sax. It shares a driveway with the House of Blues, and just walking up to the front entrance made me feel a little claustrophobic. Inside, the lobby is nice, but its decor (pretty fancy) doesn't quite match up with the feel of the guestrooms. Rooms are kind of drab, the decor is almost cheesy ...

Fantastic location! Just around the corner from the John Hancock Center and conveniently located to all the shopping along Michigan Ave. Beautifully renovated guest rooms - however, they are tiny! This W is one of the older W properties and you can definitely tell. The hotel is in a prime location and when i checked in, the lobby was very active and lively. The hotel room had the sexiness that i love in the W brand. The room service was a little above average and the service was prompt and ...
