Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown

Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    6 reviews
Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

I forgot I was in Chicago for a moment when I drifted off from reality in my hunting lodge fantasy. Meaning the place is decorated like a cozy All-American lodge. The duck logo matches the hotels aura, and has a pleasant atmosphere that even Elmer Fudd could appreciate. Homewood is right by Big Bowl, which is one of my favorite ...

Maybe you don't want to stay in the thick of downtown or can't find a room... Hotel Lincoln is a good solution for you because it is just a short cab or train ride from The Loop and just steps away from Lincoln Park Zoo. The staff here tries harder- and that's solid gold in my book.

Mediocre - 67% of guests recommend

Chicago's historic and haunted hotel is a great choice for a bit of luxury with a tale to tell. Al Capone reportedly spent time here, and so many U.S. Presidents held meetings here that it earned the hotel the nickname 'Home of Presidents.'

    The Tremont - Chicago

    The Tremont - Chicago

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    6 reviews
Fair - 72% of guests recommend

When a hotel is located around the block from a Bentley dealership, one can pretty much expect what they’re getting themselves into. The Tremont is vintage Chicago, boasting an uncluttered lobby that’s easy on the eyes, but doesn’t exactly douse its visitors in coziness. It’s a nice hotel, but my grandparents wouldn’t complain about it having too many frills. Ditka’s ...

Inn of Chicago Hotel Magnificent Mile

    Hotel Class:

Fair - 72% of guests recommend

From the outside, the Inn of Chicago looks like a building transported straight from the streets of Paris. Intricate detailing, featuring lion heads and marble paneling, makes it one of my favorite buildings in the whole city. From the inside, it looks more like a swanky living space with long, tall benches inflected with gold coloring and a large fireplace ...

Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

The location is excellent. Water taxi nearby, magnificent mile just a few steps away. Keefer's restaurant just a few minutes away. Nothing to complain about the hotel - just a normal business hotel. Wifi availability was not good around the hotel conference areas. The conference areas were a maze with some places quite far apart.

It was a treat to show up at 5pm while the complimentary wine, beer, and cocktails were being served. They also had some great flatbreads. The service is the best attribute of the Palomar though. The staff is extremely accommodating, and the valet attendants remembered me when I came back down. There is top-notch pool and fresco terrace, and my ...

This W is one of the older W properties and you can definitely tell. The hotel is in a prime location and when i checked in, the lobby was very active and lively. The Westin Michigan Avenue is in a fantastic location right in the middle of North Michigan avenue. Room rates are very reasonable and the property is comfortable. It is a good option for a no frills business trip. I've stayed at the property before and I knew what to expect. It feels a bit more like a "stereotypical" US Sheraton ...
