    Three Dots and a Dash

435 North Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois
    3 reviews

This place is so much fun! Friday nights are the best nights to go. I love the tiki theme that place has going. I just really enjoy the novelty of it all. All drinks come in these special cups and glasses. The drinks are creative and fun with their garnishments. For example one drink has a tiki cup and uses ...

    The Purple Pig

500 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL
    21 reviews

Places that don't take reservations inherently annoy me, but their charcuterie was in a league of it's own. Perfect for an after-theater matinee, these small places are great to share.

    RPM Italian

52 West Illinois Street, Chicago, IL, United States
    4 reviews

Love everything about this place. Whenever I have people in town or am sending someone off, this is where I go. You cannot go wrong with Mama DePandi's pasta or the truffle bread or pretty much anything you order. The portions are the perfect size for Italian food and ordering a few to share is definitely the way to go.

A few weeks later and I'm still dreaming about those Guinness milkshakes! Amazing! This place was pretty spectacular. The venue was gorgeous.... Textured walls, mood lighting, cozy booths. Friendly attentive service and the burgers are excellent. The shining star of the show was the tuna on fried eggplant. Yum! We had a great time, and will definitely be back to ...

3335 North Halsted Street, Chicago, IL, United States
    1 review

Chef Ashlee Aubin's North Halsted small plates restaurant has racked up some serious awards in the form of back-to-back 2013 & 2014 Michelin Bib Gourmand Awards, but this stylish outpost knows its real bread and butter are the boys and babes of Boystown. The demise of DOMA was celebrated not with the clinking of champagne flutes, but with the rainbow ...

702 west fulton market, Chicago, IL 60661, United States
    6 reviews

Carnivale is a colorfully decorated restaurant with a moderately to expensively priced menu filled with Spanish cheeses, Ceviches and dishes like Peruvian chicken. Rice and beans and other sides are a la carte, which can add some heft to the bill. There are some fantastic cocktails, including a delicious sangria and a fun, fruity concoction called Victoria's Secret. The best ...

If you ever get a craving for oysters, visit between 4pm-6pm and get half off a dozen ($15). The oysters are consistently solid.

Great cocktails with swank views and interior. The chocolate covered bacon with maple syrup martini is distinctive even if I wouldn't repeat it.

    Mia Francesca

3311 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL, United States
    3 reviews

Great neighborhood Italian place. A bit cramped but the atmosphere is nice and there is always a good vibe. Be sure to eat downstairs in the main dining room. The food is consistently excellent and the pasta portions are immense. If available, get the stuffed cherry peppers. They are often listed as a special but can sometimes be ordered even ...

    Longman & Eagle

2657 North Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647
    13 reviews

Ok, everyone raves about how amazing this place is and I gotto say, it was good, but I was not blown away. Once you add in the wait time, it's kind of worth it less and less to me. That being said, if you're in the area, it's a good place to try out.

    House of Blues

5700 South Cicero Avenue, Chicago, IL, United States
    23 reviews

Located next to the Chicago River, House Of Blues has a few options…You can even join as a member, most people however come for the concerts upstairs in this small venue. There's a restaurant on the first level as well.

    Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba

    2024 N Halsted St, Chicago, IL 60614

A Chicago institution. The food is good but can feel a bit touristy and overrun. I prefer Twist or Mercat a la Planxa.

    Revolution Brewing

    2323 North Milwaukee Avenue
    7 reviews

Went to Revolution Brewing this past weekend, overall, it was a good experience. It was a Friday with the Blackhawks playing in the WCF, crowed, but only a 15-20 wait. Friendly staff, I had the fish n' chips (fresh cut fries) and my GF had the farm burger. I give it an "A" for quality food taste (fish was great ...

    Kuma's Corner

2900 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago, IL 60618-5804

Loud music, beer and insane burgers. I always chatted up the hostess, who was really nice and lent me a lighter. Know the busy nights of the week - otherwise wait shoulder to shoulder with other hungry people.
