    Kuma's Corner

2900 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago, IL 60618-5804

Loud music, beer and insane burgers. I always chatted up the hostess, who was really nice and lent me a lighter. Know the busy nights of the week - otherwise wait shoulder to shoulder with other hungry people.

837 W Fulton Market, Chicago, Illinois
    12 reviews

This may not be the most popular, especially at this beloved Chicago restaurant, but I enjoyed the Publican, I just wasn't in love. There are many other restaurants I would go to before here. The food is solid, just not out of this world to me. The butcher that is affiliated with Publican is awesome, I will say.

    Giordano's Pizzeria on Rush

730 North Rush Street, Chicago, IL 60611
    37 reviews

The concierge at the Drake directed us here for good Chicago pizza. This was the first authentic Chicago pizza we tasted on our vacation and we were not disappointed. It's thick deep dish style. We ordered personal size pizzas and a garlic bread appetizer although the pizza would've been enough. We left the restaurant absolutely stuffed.

    Giordano's Pizza

730 North Rush Street, Chicago, IL
    27 reviews

The deep dish Chicago Classic is delicious! I prefer Giordano's over Lou Malnati's. A small is enough to feed 3-4 people, so if you get a medium or large, it's because you're either ravenous or want to eat pizza for days. If you don't have time to wait an hour for your pizza, get a half-baked frozen pie to go. ...

    Taste of Chicago

    24 E Congress Pkwy, Chicago, IL 60605
    13 reviews

What an experience, a food fun fair where you can eat and how much as you like (as long as you have the vouchers for it of course). This has to be one of the best foodie events I have been too, and a place to discover what's at the heart of Chicago - great food. The deep dish pizza, ...

    Garrett Popcorn

Garrett Popcorn brand needs no introduction. Yes, it IS as good as they say and they lines can be a bear at certain locations and certain times. There really is no one that does a better Chicago Mix of Cheddar and Caramel flavors.

    Pizzeria Uno

    29 E Ohio St, Chicago, IL 60611
    35 reviews

Chicago is best known for its deep dish pizza, so when a local told me I should have a traditional pizza for my first dinner here, I dutifully listened. Pizzeria Uno is one of the best in town which is easily confirmed by the never-ending lines. You basically wait on line to put yourself on the list while simultaneously ordering, ...

    Gino's East of Chicago

    633 N Wells St, Chicago, IL 60654
    25 reviews

My favorite deep dish pizza. Everyone has their own preference but I feel this place gives you a more down home feel than the competing chain spots in town. This restaurant location has a lot of history and character going on inside. Be prepared to wait a while for pizza to come out. Grab a drink and an app while ...

    Hot Doug's

    3324 N California Ave, Chicago, IL 60618
    18 reviews

A Chicago institution, but it's going to be closing on October 3, 2014. Go there before it's gone! This corner hot dog shop owned by a die-hard Cubs fan takes hot dogs to the next gourmet level with wild game, berries, nuts, cheeses and all sorts of unexpectedly awesome flavor combinations. Don't be surprised to see a line outside and ...

Joe's Seafood Steak & Stone Crab

60 East Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL
    14 reviews

Sister restaurant to the famous Joe's Stone Crab in Miami, this is an institution in Chicago. The decor is classic steakhouse with white linens, handsome dark wood and plush leather booths. There's a filet mignon and a stone crab lunch special that includes soup, potatoes, cole slaw and key lime pie. The meaty stone crab claws are served cold and ...

449 North Clark St., Chicago, IL, 60654
    13 reviews

This place was delicious! My boyfriend and I each got a torta. I got the Chicken Milanesa and he got the Choriqueso, and we both agreed mine was better. Then we shared churros, which were amazing. It's basically what Taco Bell's "cinnamon twists" ASPIRE to be. The only thing is that it's quite small and cramped in there, and we ...

    Gilt Bar

230 W Kinzie St, Chicago, IL
    12 reviews

Basically any establishment these owners open I am a huge fan of. Delicious food, classy drinks, great atmosphere! The downstairs was a great cocktail lounge with live music, but unfortunately I think it will be turned into a Ramen restaurant soon.

    Bongo Room

    1470 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622
    12 reviews

My absolute favorite brunch spot, how can you say no to white choc caramel pretzel pancakes? My actual favorite menu item is the BLT benedict (which is way classier than it sounds) and a pancake on the side (yes they let you do this, it's off the menu ordering). You're welcome.

Love the vibe here! Awesome craft cocktails and they do wines on tap too. Yummy pork sliders and fish tacos to munch on if you need a bite to eat. If you're a bourbon fan, get the Sheriff Pepper.

    626 N State St, Chicago, IL 60610
    13 reviews

This is a pretty cute little spot. It's definitely great for groups, especially ones that are prepared for the noisiness. I've been here a couple time and spilt a pizza and had some great pastas. Nothing mind-blowing, but still good. I also really think its a nice blend of casual and a little fancy. Plus, the outdoor seating is great.

    Frontera Grill

445 North Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois 60654
    11 reviews

Famed Rick Bayless restaurant serving up delicious Mexican fare. While getting a reservation is tricky, you can always grab a seat at their festively decorated bar. I was looking for something light, so I had the chipotle mushrooms with tortillas and a signature margarita for lunch. The mushrooms had an amazing flavor and spice to them. Will definitely be back ...
