    Millennium Park

201 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601-6530
    261 reviews

Gotta see the BEAN! The park is Chicago's equivalent to New York's Central Park. It is a great place to hang and people watch. It is also a great place for families and picnic's. The largest outdoor "green" space in Chicago.

    Willis Tower

    233 S Wacker Dr
    201 reviews

(Now the Willis Tower) Crowded, touristy, and the only thing it has going for it is the overdone Sky Deck photo. Go to the Signature Lounge at the Hancock instead.

    John Hancock Center

875 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611-1779
    114 reviews

In my opinion, the best bar in Chicago. A little over priced but worth ever penny. The view is just as spectacular as the Willis Tower but a more mature and relaxing environment.

    John G. Shedd Aquarium

1200 South Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60605-2402

I absolutely love this place. I've been to several fine aquariums, but this place might offer the most complete overall experience in that category. Worth the price of admission.

    Lincoln Park Zoo

2001 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60614-4712
    83 reviews

Feels more like a park but, it's free. Great to take kids I guess when you are on a tight budget. Best time to visit is in the summer! It's too cold to go any other time. Besides I am sure the animals are inside to be kept warm.

    81 reviews

Crazy cool museum of science and technology that will fascinate any pre-teen, and some teens and adults, too. It's located on the South Side of Chicago, not far from the University of Chicago campus. Drive down and plan on spending all day inside.

    Cloud Gate

    AT&T Plaza, Chicago, IL 60686
    79 reviews

The Cloud Gate sculpture, which many affectionately call "the bean," is a cool sculpture with the city skyline in the background, but the crowds didn't make me want to linger.

    Field Museum

1400 South Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60605-2827
    67 reviews

This should be on everyone's list of things to do in Chicago, and make sure you plan enough time to do it. You can easily be here all day and still not see everything. Parking could be a bit tricky, though, especially if there is a game going on at Soldier's Field next door.

    Lake Michigan

    58 reviews

It's huge, beautiful, and looks like the ocean. If only the air were salty, it would be fairly easy to trick someone into believing it wasn't a lake. A great lake, indeed.

Cool place to visit. Never been to any other Chinatown so this is all I know. There are a good amount of stores, bakeries and restaurants. Beware most stores and bakeries only take cash! Architecture River Cruise

333 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60601-3700

It may sound dull, but this cruise is the best way to learn to learn about the architecture and the history of the Chicago while getting a feel for the city at the same time. On a sunny day, grab a cocktail and a seat on the top deck for the 90-minute tour.
