    Millennium Park

I love Millennium Park! It's super-touristy, but definitely a destination if you are in the Chicago area.

    Willis Tower

    207 reviews

It is tall. Really, really tall. While the view is nice, I hate standing on the edge of a building. Personally I prefer looking at the building than looking from the building.

    Wrigley Field

    167 reviews

Baseball is not my first sport. But the atmosphere in this, one of the oldest grounds still undeveloped, is fantastic. A real Chicago experience.

    John Hancock Center

    121 reviews

In my opinion, the best bar in Chicago. A little over priced but worth ever penny. The view is just as spectacular as the Willis Tower but a more mature and relaxing environment.

    John G. Shedd Aquarium

    101 reviews

When we were here In 2007; I thought the exhibits were run down & the building smelled of mold. Over 75% of all the viewing glasses to the exhibits were scratched. I was thoroughly disappointed. TODAY 2014 was a totally different experience. Just the opposite of the spectrum. Well worth the money spent on our city pass tickets to do ...

Its Free, doesn't get much better than that! You must stop at the Gorilla exhibit, there are 2 baby gorillas who I could watch for hours. They are hilarious.

    Museum of Science and Industry

    85 reviews

The Museum of Science and Industry is the only building still standing from the 1893 World's Fair. Originally named the Palace of Fine Arts, it housed artwork, and was the only building to be made fireproof. After the fair, the original exterior plaster was replaced with limestone, fortifying the building and extending its life. While the exterior is no longer ...

    Cloud Gate

    87 reviews

Ok it's kinda packed but it's one of those things you have to see if you're in the area. I'd recommend to check out the theater as the outdoor events there are quite cool. But the bean itself is kinda lackluster itself. Lots of music and events nearby though that are are quit cool

The Magnificent Mile a.k.a. North Michigan Ave is the "Fifth Ave" of Chicago. The area is a shopper's delight and it offers a broad range of retail stores from American Eagle Outfitters to Armani Exchange. There is something for everyone.

    Field Museum

    73 reviews

After the World's Fair, the Field Museum was born and took residence in the Palace of Fine Arts (now the Museum of Science and Industry), in order to display artifacts from the fair. The museum has since changed locations and has grown to include other notable attractions, such as Sue the dinosaur. In 2013, to commemorate the 120 year anniversary ...

Catch the fountain on a warm sunny day. Enjoy the skyline, the water, and the families walking around. Shut off from fall to late spring.

    Lake Michigan

The lake is beautiful and oceanic in size. Also a great anchoring point if you are trying to figure out your way in the city. The lake is always East.

    Navy Pier Ferris Wheel

    61 reviews

The ferris wheel on Navy Pier is an iconic Chicago attraction. Invented for the 1893 World's Fair, the original Ferris Wheel was huge, with 36 cars capable of holding 60 riders each. The original was dismantled and sold for scrap long ago, but history buffs can get a taste of 1893 by taking a quick ride on this scaled down ...

    Chinatown

    55 reviews

Chinatown is an awesome place to explore! There are tons of little shops (although after a while, most of them are basically the same). At the little stores one can buy anything from vitamins to cute wall decals. I've found some unique stuff at the shops, like gorgeous tea sets and beautiful hand-painted posters. There is also an incredible amount ...

    Downtown Chicago

    42 reviews

Thriving business district with a lot of culture. There are sculptures, like the Picasso, small fountains, and courtyard type gathering places. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. On the weekends, it is much more quiet. Several theaters, like the historic Chicago Theater and the Goodman Theater are in the Loop.

    Architecture River Cruise

    41 reviews

What a wonderful way to enjoy the skyline and architecture of the city! I found this to be both a beautiful and informative tour. I especially recommend taking the tour in the evening, as you're able to see the buildings both in broad daylight and at dusk, when the lights come on and the city lights up. Spectacular!

    Soldier Field

    43 reviews

A great place to catch a football game. Small enough that every seat is a good seat. I am not a Bears fan, but you can't beat going to a game there.
