    John G. Shedd Aquarium

    101 reviews

One of the most well put together aquariums that I've ever visited! The set up takes you around the World's oceans and freshwater systems, introducing water life along the way. FYI- there are lockers in the basement for you to keep your valuables in while you walk around for a minimal fee! Loved it!

    Cloud Gate

    87 reviews

GO! You wouldn't go to Paris and not see the Eiffel tower, or to St Louis and miss seeing the arch. Yes it is a big shiny coffee bean- no it doesn't do anything spectacular except give you amazing different views of the city. That whole Millennium at&t park is gorgeous. It is well worth the Uber X cab ride.

Pretty much one of the funnest activities to do with a group whether it's family, friends,'s a mix of bumper cars, basketball, and lacrosse-- it can get intense! Aside from the Whirlyball courts, they have laser tag, arcade games, sports on TV, and surprisingly amazing collection of craft beers.

Very fun adventure. Enjoyed the views! Be ready for crowds on most days. Often there is a long line. It is usually good to go early or in the evening, at night.

    Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum

    32 reviews

Although it's not as interactive as one would hope a museum to be, the presentations make up for what's lacking in other departments. I'm not a fan of museums in general, but I fell in love with the view of the stars from Adler. Stop by if you have the chance!

    Architecture River Cruise

    40 reviews

Best tour in the city. It's expensive, but seeing the city by the river is the best way. Docents are extremely knowledgable. A good thing to do on a nice Sunday afternoon with a Bloody Mary in hand. Bar on board! The architecture in Chicago is stunning! Highly recommend.

    Lake Michigan

    59 reviews

I understand its one of the biggest lakes in the US. It does not really look a like due to its expanse but we had fun taking photos. It helped that my cousin was a professional photographer :) Loved the surroundings although we went autumn so it was kinda windy and really cold.

    Wicker Park

    25 reviews

Great local Chicago neighborhood, packed full with great locally own restaurants and fantastic clothing stores. There are a lot of men clothing stores here in Wicker park. For students and lovers of architecture- just visit the neighborhoods off North street and the area surrounding the actual Wicker Park. Fabulous examples of Prairie, Victorian and German style architectural influences.

    Ohio Street Beach

    4 reviews

Just a short walk from the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, and most of the nicest downtown hotels, the Ohio Street beach is a great place to spend an afternoon catching some sun or just walking off dinner. It's a small beach, but clean and usually not too crowded.

The new hit and surefire place to be this spring in Chicago has arrived. Definitely a must try if you are a visitor or resident. The food is tasty, assortment of cheeses and preserved meats and fresh made pastas are top flight, and the beer is good. If you choose to dine there, I would prefer one of the stand ...

    Chicago Food Planet Food Tours

    4 reviews

We took the Wicker park/Bucktown tour and had a fantastic time. We didn't really care for our primary vegetarian menu but the food tasting part of the tour is actually a very small part of the fun. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing and learning about these two very prominent neighborhoods. So many fun things to see and do here.

There will always be a chinatown in every country or large city just like in chicago however I liked the one I visited because I found authentic chinese stuff specially the herbal and medicines. Got myself some chrysanthemum authentic tea which i would usually ask my friends in china to get me. Worth the visit.
