Yes. Amazing tacos, but good luck getting a seat. Minimum 2 hour wait usually. Oh, and it's cash only.

    Violet Hour

    20 reviews

An intimate, classy bar with potent cocktails is the perfect combination for an amazing night out. The cocktail menu is divided by liquor, and the drinks become stronger as you move through each category. The door is unmarked, and there's usually a wait to get in, so arrive early. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Chicago.

Probably the most popular neighborhood along the Blue Line, Wicker Park is home to some of the best book stores, thrift shops, and live music venues in the city. Within steps of the Damen Blue Line station are hundreds of things to do: the park, Big Star (tacos!), the Flat Iron building, the Double Door, Quimby's...I could go on. Come ...

    Emporium Arcade Bar

    4
    5 reviews

It's a bar, with a bunch of arcade games - a barcade, if you will. Drinks are somewhat reasonable, with lots of beer on draft. And all the games are 25 cents a pop! Nice. Our friend in Chicago plays in pinball tournaments here. Now I know that that is a thing.

    Sidetrack

Consistently good / friendly Chicago bar. Nice and clean with a somewhat industrial atmosphere. The crowd is consistently good (and good looking) on the weekends but most people are pretty down to earth. They could be a little more inventive on the cocktails but as long as you stick to the basics you are fine. The lines can get pretty ...

With my packed schedule in chicago, one of the thing I really wanted to see was the Twilight from the Hancock building. Pro tip: Avoid paying cover to enter and go to the cocktail lounge instead and use that money on booze. It's free if you go to the cocktail lounge. Tip2: The best view is on your left when ...

    City Winery Chicago LLC

I came here for a show, so I can't speak for a typical dining experience. However, the music venue is great. It's all reserved seating at tables where one can order City Winery's own wine among many other beverage selections as well as a variety of small plates. It's a great place to catch a band and still be in ...
