Historically the Swedish neighborhood on Chicago's north side, Andersonville has long been gay-friendly. The main drag along Clark Street alternates Scandinavian bakeries, cafes and grocery shops with antiques stores, bars and trendy restaurants. Don't miss the special Andersonville Coffee Cake from the Swedish Bakery or having a craft beer at the Hopleaf Tavern.

The Cubs are horrible but their fans make watching them play at Wrigley Field one of the most fun experiences you'll ever have in Chicago. The general admission bleacher seats are where the action's at. They're actually one of the more pricier tickets too. The fans are rowdy and hilarious. If you arrive after the first inning, it's almost impossible ...

Best tour in the city. It's expensive, but seeing the city by the river is the best way. Docents are extremely knowledgable. A good thing to do on a nice Sunday afternoon with a Bloody Mary in hand. Bar on board! The architecture in Chicago is stunning! Highly recommend.

Historical building that survived the great fire, the water tower is as much an icon of the Chicago as it is an important tourist stop today, the tourist information center on the magnificent mile today. This is a beautiful stone structure that still stands tall amidst its skycraper height neighbors after all these years.
