    Chicago Food Planet Food Tours

    830 N Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60611 ‎
    3 reviews

I have been on the Bucktown/Wicker Park and Chinatown food tours, and they're SUCH a fun way to check out Chicago's culinary landscape. Even as a local, I learned so much I didn't know about both neighborhoods, and I got to try food from at least five restaurants while I was on each tour!

I love the Art Institute. I go here every time I am in Chicago. There is a lot to see, but even just visiting one part of the museum is better than not visiting at all!

Fans of historic architecture won't want to miss a walk down the Magnificent Mile, a prominent section of Michigan Avenue. In addition to the rows of upscale shops at ground level, don't forget to look up at some of the most famous buildings in the city - the Trump Tower, the John Hancock Center, the Wrigley Building, the Tribune Tower ...

    Lincoln Park Zoo

2001 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60614-4712

I'm not a fan of zoos. That said, if you are going to visit one, this is a relatively nice one. Conveniently located in a gorgeous park. I hate to see the animals living in captivity but this zoo is more humane than most and has a wide variety of animals.

    Lake Michigan

Gotta love the lake! Take a dip in the summer if you dare. Not because it's ass cold but more because its full of bacteria LOL. Anyway I suggest finding a friend with a boat and see the city from that view!

I really enjoy the Museum of Science and Industry. I think that adults without kids often overlook it but they really shouldn't. There's so much to see, do and learn, it makes a great date idea for your spouse your friends or your group. They always have free days for residents of Illinois so check the website to see if ...

What could you say about the place that Michael built? If you are a Bulls or Blackhawks fan then this is a must stop for a game. I suggest drinking on Madison St. and hopping on one of the many trollies to the stadium. The drinks are bit pricy!

One of the most incredible ball parks in America. Just being in the neighborhood to hear the roar of the crowd is a treat. Even if you don't like baseball, a sunny afternoon in the bleacher seats is a Chicago highlight.

Im partial to the Handcock over the Sears Tower. I really just suggest going up to the Signature Lounge for a drink and enjoying the view. Go in the day when they open to avoid the rush and get a window seat. Chances are you are on vacation so you should be ready for a drink anyway LOL

Enjoy the view that you'd get from the observation deck but do it with a cocktail. A really lovely bar offering one of the best views in the city. Yes, it is touristy but it really is special.

I love all the bridges in Chicago because they merge beauty, photo opps and function all in one. If you see people trying to take a picture and you're not in a hurry- offer to take it. It's what a local would do.
