    Grand Hyatt Santiago

    Grand Hyatt Santiago

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    5 reviews

Old style luxury with an exquisite but modern earthy feel for me best describes the Grand Hyatt. I really loved this hotel, it is the height of excellence in Santiago- an amazing entry way and lobby, a deep royal blue pool, a beautiful fountain, and lots of shining brass gives the hotel a golden glow throughout the interior. The hotel ...

    Radisson Plaza Santiago Hotel

    Hotel Class:

I was impressed by the friendly staff (5 stars for our receptionist). The room was intelligently designed with light earthy colors. Standard hotel amenities: gym, pool, conference rooms. The gym had a very modern workout machine that can be used with a balance board or yoga ball, (very cool and I totally want one). I really felt the Radisson is ...

    Atton Las Condes

The first and last impression at this hotel is the extremely friendly staff. And although the hotel is geared more towards business men, they seem to welcome all equally. The lobby is spacious, modern, very functional, though perhaps lacking chairs to wait for your guests. However, at the bar area, their happy hour every Wednesday and Thursday features live music ...

    Holiday Inn Santiago Airport

    Holiday Inn Santiago Airport

    Hotel Class:
    4
    4 reviews

This is definitely the nicest and most convenient airport hotel I've stayed in. It's immediately across from baggage claim/departures. The indoor pool was a great welcome for our child. Decent breakfast is included, decent but over priced dinner. Wine is ridiculously over priced compared to the rest of Chile.

    Crowne Plaza Hotel Santiago

    Crowne Plaza Hotel Santiago

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    3 reviews

This is one of the most quality hotels I've ever been to. The place just exudes understated class and professionalism. One gets the feeling that it's the hotel other hotels aim for when they're trying to reach that gold standard of care and detail-orientation. There's nothing exactly flashy about it (except for the flamboyantly massive chandeliers hanging everywhere), but the ...

    W Santiago

    Hotel Class:
    4.5

I was chatting with a guy that works at the Santiago Marriott recently and he told me that they're about to remodel their lobby – and that “when it's done, it will look better than the W.” Well, it's easy to see why the W sets the design standard for Santiago hotels. The lobby décor is so uber-modern that you ...

    Santiago Marriott Hotel

    Santiago Marriott Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4
    7 reviews

You walk into the Marriott's giant, glass-roofed atrium lobby and wonder how they ever manage to clean all those windows. It's so spacious you could hover a couple of helicopters over the heads of the martini-drinking guests without knocking anything over. The rooms are also pretty spacious, with a nice big desk – much larger than most hotel room desks– ...

    InterContinental Santiago

    Hotel Class:

This hotel has two parts – the 13-year-old original part of the hotel, and the newer “green” part of the hotel that's been open just a year. The new part has a living-wall on the outside in an attempt to be environmentally conscious. The rooms, at least in the new side, look and smell clean, and have some nice touches, ...

    The Ritz-Carlton Santiago

    The Ritz-Carlton Santiago

    Hotel Class:
    4.5

I always wondered whether the Ritz-Carlton was named after the word ritzy, or if the word ritzy derived from the glam and storied Ritz hotels. When you walk into this Ritz, in one of Santiago's toniest neighborhoods, you are inclined to think the word was derived from the hotel. The place just smells like wealth, and it has to be ...

    Kennedy Hotel

Three things stood out about this hotel: one, they have bidets in the bathroom – not typical in Chile! Two, the pool, though small, is beautiful and tranquil, with a fountain, a Buddha statue and a bamboo garden. And three, the elevator has one of those glass walls in back, so you can see the city as you're climbing up ...

This is a nice hotel in a good location, very comfortable and professional, if a little generic and corporate-y. But I really dig that it's part of a small chain of South American-owned hotels, and much of their clientele is South American. The service is very professional and friendly, though the staff probably generally speaks a little less English than ...

    Le Reve Boutique Hotel

We liked this place so much that we lingered because we didn't want to leave. Their garden patio is so tranquil it's hard to believe you're just a half-block from Santiago's main drag. The French theme suggested by the hotel's name is upheld in the lobby, where framed, antique maps of Paris adorn the walls and old French music warbles ...

I was already sold on this hotel before I even walked in, thanks to the cool, chill cafe attached to it, shaded by some of the tall, beautiful old trees that line Ricardo de Lyon Street. And once I walked in, I was not disappointed. The rooms are a smidge small but recently renovated and carefully designed. Each room has ...

    Hotel Rio Bidasoa

    Hotel Class:

This place has a real Chilean feel, which I really liked. It's about three stories tall, and meanders from the main building to an attached house, and has something like 35 rooms. The room was neat but kind of small, with no real sitting area except a desk. But the design was simple and pretty – wood furniture, crisp white ...

    Hotel Class:

From the soaring classical music and friendly, costumed porter that greeted us in the lobby to the well-stocked hardwood bar, this place had the air of a classy, if a little stuffy, European hotel. It seems to attract an older clientele – a lot of gringos and Europeans, as well as vacationing Brazilians. I think it's worth the price, if ...

These executive suites are better than just suites – they're pretty much outfitted apartments, with fully equipped kitchens, two bathrooms, and a livingroom ideal for hosting friends or business associates. Although in general, I found the design of the suite a little bit generic, there were some nice attempts to make it less impersonal, like an actual shell on the ...

The outside of the building is so nondescript that it would be easy to pass by, if you're not looking out for the plaque that humbly announces the hotel's presence. But the humbleness ends there. Inside are comfortable, modern, stylish, sizable apartments. And central - they sit over the main drag of what in my mind may be the coolest ...
