explora Patagonia - Hotel Salto Chico

explora Patagonia - Hotel Salto Chico

    Hotel Class:
    5
    3 reviews

Location is incredible, we took the boat to the glacier (from Puerto Natales) then a zodiac to get there - way better than the 5 hour drive. Hikes and horseback riding is incredible. Guides are top notch and food is excellent. This is a once in a lifetime experience and well worth the extra $!

    Refugia Lodge

    Refugia Lodge

    5
    1 review

Opened in September 2012, this contemporary retreat is a game changer for Patagonia’s west coast. Effortlessly bridging the traditional and the avant-garde, Refugia is the first luxury lodge on Chiloé, an island known for its pristine forests and historic wooden churches (recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites). The lodge, a shiplike structure of wooden shingles and large glass walls, ...

Pure Patagonian nature, only two small affordable cosy houses on a huge estate, an own beach and a breakfast of which the land gives the owners. Amazing & secret spot, the owners speak German, English, French and Italian as well as Spanish. Word goes you find around 30 native bird species on the ground as well as a lot of ...

    The Aubrey

    The Aubrey

    Hotel Class:
    5
    6 reviews

Testament to how much the Bellavista neighbourhood has changed in recent years - it used to be something of a magnet for tatty students and backpackers with downscale bars and eatieres to match. Occupying two 1920s Tudor-style mansions at the bottom of San Cristobal Hill, this 15-room hotel has been loved up by its Australian and English owners. The pool ...

The W Santiago is extremely beautiful and located in one of the nicest parts of town. Close by are a handful of great cafes and restaurants and even modern comforts like Starbucks. The Marriot in Santiago is the usual quality for the brand, and is in a neighborhood with plenty to do. It's near a grocery store and an Irish pub, as well as one of Santiago's main streets.

    The Ritz-Carlton Santiago

    Hotel Class:

Of course it was excellent, what else would one expect from the Ritz. Friendly and attentive staff, spacious rooms with comfy feather beds. Luxury is at every corner, fine dining in the hotel or just around the corner in any direction. The view from the room shows off the most modern of Santiago. Car service is at the waiting and ...

    Kennedy Hotel

    Kennedy Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    5 reviews

Three things stood out about this hotel: one, they have bidets in the bathroom – not typical in Chile! Two, the pool, though small, is beautiful and tranquil, with a fountain, a Buddha statue and a bamboo garden. And three, the elevator has one of those glass walls in back, so you can see the city as you're climbing up ...

    Grand Hyatt Santiago

    Grand Hyatt Santiago

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    5 reviews

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Santiago during the first of our multiple legs in/out of Santiago. In terms of service, amenities, and comfort (of the more luxurious kind), the Hyatt has it covered. I think it helped that we had a room with the most spectacular view of the skyline and the mountains. We managed both sunset and ...

    Atton Las Condes

    Atton Las Condes

    4.5
    4 reviews

Bright art and blankets in the rooms, a lovely, grassy pool area and warm, professional service make this hotel inviting. This is the original Atton hotel, a small South American chain, and you can tell it's not brand spankin new. But that said, it's clean and pleasant. The rooms have a comfy chair and footrest, a large desk, and newish ...

    Happy House Hostel

    5
    3 reviews

I absolutely loved this this hostel and everything about it — its contemporary, chic design (by a local designer), its attentive staff, the little touches, like giving names of regions and cities in Chile to all its rooms and dormitories, and the hostel-branded water available in the mini bar in the entrance lounge. The redecoration that the hostel’s undergoing has ...

    Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel

    Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel

    5
    3 reviews

Creative and inspired is how I can best describe this little 8 room hotel. The M. Sur is modern on a budget. The rooms and spaces are intelligently designed. Poetry on bright white walls accented with deep dark shiny wooden floors, the hotel is simple and interesting. The staff are casual and attentive. I really loved the breakfast nook on ...

    Radisson Plaza Santiago Hotel

    Radisson Plaza Santiago Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    3 reviews

Some high-end hotels focus so hard on being luxurious that they forget to be warm. That is not the case at this Radisson, which manages to be friendly and relaxed while also feeling fancy. The whole hotel smells flowery, in a pleasant way. The suites are large, have two flat-screen TVs, a nice little sitting area, a large desk, a ...

    Crowne Plaza Hotel Santiago

    Crowne Plaza Hotel Santiago

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    3 reviews

This is one of the most quality hotels I've ever been to. The place just exudes understated class and professionalism. One gets the feeling that it's the hotel other hotels aim for when they're trying to reach that gold standard of care and detail-orientation. There's nothing exactly flashy about it (except for the flamboyantly massive chandeliers hanging everywhere), but the ...

    Le Reve Boutique Hotel

    Le Reve Boutique Hotel

    4.5
    3 reviews

For what La Reve lacks in a reception desk they make up for everything else. There are too many wonderful details to note. I could go on and on about the library and the choice of books, to the large collection of amazingly comfortable couches. Or I could write a page on how inviting the patio is and how I ...

    Hotel Bonaparte

    Hotel Bonaparte

    Hotel Class:
    4.5

Hotel Bonaparte is in a very quaint neighborhood in Santiago called Providencia. You will enjoy walking the tree-lined streets passing the stately homes. The area also has a lot of good restaurants if you like food as much as I do. Just talking about it makes me want to go back. If I were there I would certainly tour you ...

    Holiday Inn Santiago Airport

    Holiday Inn Santiago Airport

    Hotel Class:
    4
    4 reviews

This is definitely the nicest and most convenient airport hotel I've stayed in. It's immediately across from baggage claim/departures. The indoor pool was a great welcome for our child. Decent breakfast is included, decent but over priced dinner. Wine is ridiculously over priced compared to the rest of Chile.
