Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

I've styed at this hotel twice and it is very convenient for those early/late flights. If you are flying to Atacama, Easter Island, Punta Arenas or elsewhere and are taking an early morning flight this hotel is ideal. The rooms have sound proof windows and the hotel is literally steps away from the airport exit. You won't need a transfer!

Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

Nestling in one of Santiago's most up-and-coming barrios this 14-room hotel offers great value though the charm of the 1920s building sadly hasn't rubbed off on the comfortable but otherwise undistinctive rooms, decorated with the kind of middle-of-the road contemporary touches you'll find anywhere these days. That said, the surrounding neighbourhood offers plenty of restaurants and wine bars, so top ...

    Hotel Tokyo

This place doesn't really deserve four stars, maybe not even three, but it's going to get them from me anyway because I love love love the garden - and its devoted gardener. You can tell that once upon a time, someone put a lot of love and money into this hotel – its collection of antiques and Japanese art in ...

Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

I arrived just as a great activity of tourists and business people had just walked in, but nevertheless the less the reception staff was gracious and efficient. The hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Santiago's financial district, retains a classic style, but its amenities fall somewhat short for passengers accustomed to staying in Intercontinental hotels. For example, there is ...

I think "Hostal el Raco" is a great hostel if you are looking for truly authentic Chilean artistry. I highly recommend a stay here. The owner has put a lot of attention into this place and it shows. The place is eclectic but modest. The owner is the designer and has supplied most of the paintings on the walls. In ...

    Refugia Lodge

Opened in September 2012, this contemporary retreat is a game changer for Patagonia’s west coast. Effortlessly bridging the traditional and the avant-garde, Refugia is the first luxury lodge on Chiloé, an island known for its pristine forests and historic wooden churches (recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites). The lodge, a shiplike structure of wooden shingles and large glass walls, ...

Good! - 75% of guests recommend

The room was huge! Without a doubt, Hotel Neruda got top marks from me in terms of space. I also loved the indoor heated pool. There were lots of fun floats in the pool area for young children and families to make use of, which I thought was a really nice touch. However, it didn’t really appeal to my tastes. ...

Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

From the soaring classical music and friendly, costumed porter that greeted us in the lobby to the well-stocked hardwood bar, this place had the air of a classy, if a little stuffy, European hotel. It seems to attract an older clientele – a lot of gringos and Europeans, as well as vacationing Brazilians. I think it's worth the price, if ...

Interesting perspective from this topnotch building in which all the suites are located above the 23rd floor. Besides the extra spacious rooms, you have a magnificent view over the city and the Andes! The decoration is based on simple pattern. While many visit Valparaiso, most do so only as a day trip. Set in a 1920s mansion - evoking the period of the tail end of the city's boom as a major port - with sweeping views over the harbour and bay below. There are just 20 guest rooms, blending modern comforts with antique character. Well worth building at least ...
