Definitely visit this remote island. LAN recently opened a route that flies to Castro a few times per week. The natural beauty is stunning. It has well maintained national parks. Great spot for birders and kayakers. The seafood at certain locations around Castro is some of the best I've had. There are many legends about the island that locals still ...

    El Tren Libros

200 Calle San Martin, Castro, Chile

Gogobot won't let me change to the correct address, which is Calle Thompson 229, Castro. Lovely progressive book shop with great local books. They had a nice selection of beautifully illustrated children's books written about the area. All books are in Spanish, but interesting for a visit never the less.
