As beautiful as the Wynn in Vegas, but with an Asian flare. There is a cool free show in the hotel lobby every 30 minutes until 2am every night that consists of a golden dragon coming out of the ground with stream and lights. Apparently if you throw a coin at it, it's good Luck.

Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

It's nearly a carbon copy of its Las Vegas counterpart; just like the original, this hotel has the grand canal, canal shoppes, and that memorable Italian façade beneath a ceaseless blue sky. The Winter on Cotai performances are quite entertaining with acts in rapid succession. There's a band here, Blue Note (hoping I remember the name correctly), that's all-around awesome ...

    4.5

Excellent! - 96% of guests recommend

This stunning property is exactly what you would expect -- but more modern and stylish than the typical old school Ritz. A visit to Ozone on the 118th floor is a must if you are staying here -- expensive but the views are fantastic though, ironically, you are a bit too high up to fully enjoy them.

Hidden around the corner from busy Nanjing Xi Lu is the JIA hotel. It’s easy to miss the door, but once you’re inside you know it’s the right place. The lobby is on the 3rd floor, which is tribute to guest privacy and keeps out the wandering eyes of Nanjing Lu. The hotel is a design driven hotel, and that ...

I actually didn't know this was a Sofitel until now. I've only been to a few others in the US in cities where Sofitels were not the best of the best, so this place really took my breath away. The lobby is so incredibly complicated, it's like a maze! You have tons of chairs and tables and vases and decors ...

This is an amazing property. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the city. This is one of the best Peninsulas on the planet. 7 reviews

I've stayed at a lot of luxury hotel and this is one of my favorite. Impeccable style, service, and somehow the rooms are massive despite being in one of the most expensive real estate markets on earth. Better than the Mandarin and a few notches above the Peninsula (sorry)... both of which are excellent.

Great contemporary hotel with excellent service. You know you are in for a worry-free stay once you have made your reservation here. This hotel is more affordable than most 5 stars hotels in this caliber. This is partly due to the location. The hotel is at the heart of Mongkok, a relatively older part of town. Don't let that discourage ...

Cool rooms designed by Super Potato. Along with the Langham, this is one of only two hotels located in Xintiandi. I prefer Andaz to the Langham. If you are more price conscious and want to remain in the XTD area, the Ascott on Huaihai road is just down the street a ways and also quite well located, although not as ...

Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

If Beijing is China’s creative hub, this new hotel embodies that ethos perfectly. Step inside the 25-story glass tower, in the city’s Chaoyang business district, and you’ll find a young staff in hoodies, a bar with a foosball table, and a media center that operates more like a corner café. That’s where tech entrepreneurs and young movers and shakers mingle ...

No longer the highest hotel in the world but still quite impressive from the very moment you enter the lobby. Rooms are modern with Chinese-influence and have fantastic views. The location is a little inconvenient for tourists but works well if you have business on this side of the river.
