    Tim Ho Wan

    22 reviews

A dimsum classic in Hong Kong, although some outlets are better than others. I would recommend the one at Olympic (formerly here at Mong Kok) and not the outlet at IFC. Be prepared to queue - not recommended if you have young children that bore easily.

    Dadong Roast Duck Restaurant

    20 reviews

We went to their original location for their famous Peking duck. While I can't compare it with their competitors, I have to say the roast duck we ordered was phenomenal. The meat was perfect, but I think I had higher expectations for the skin. It was a little sweeter than I thought it would be. Beyond the duck, DaDong offers ...

It is a regional chain but the food is consistently good. If you are a short term visitor, I'd suggest opting for something more local but this is a good spot.

Dizzying views of Hong Kong from atop the world's highest hotel -- the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. Drinks are pricey (easily $25 USD each) but worth it to enjoy the views. Decor is modern and decadent. Service was very poor on the night we visited. The views from Felix are actually better -- Ozone is almost too high up. Definitely worth ...

    Tsui Wah Restaurant

One of my top spots for breakfast/late night eats after a long night of partying. The food, price and service are all decent.

I miss City Hall. I love this place for dim sum. I believe I ate 40 dumplings here once along with other stuff. Love their pork buns!

    Jumbo Floating Restaurant

    13 reviews

I don't like this restaurant. The food wasn't fresh, the stuff wasn't friendly. There was a woman in the toilet who looked for all my action. I don't think it's normal for this expensive restaurant.

    DaDong Roast Duck Shop

    12 reviews

Dadong is better than Quanjude but I find that there are better plaaces even to have Peking Duck. Although the duck they make here is very tasty I think that the crowing popularity has taken a little away from the former sense that cre was gives to every duck cooked. Now it feels a little commercialised. The location is great ...

With a large menu of sandwiches, salads and pastas and friendly English-speaking staff, Wagas offers a pleasant cafe experience for travelers looking for a little taste of home. The food portions are generous and the flavors are clean and simple. Prices are substantially higher than more "local" options, but Wagas is still a good option for anyone looking for a ...

    The Peak Lookout

Although the menu offerings are quite extensive: from French fare like foie gras to fresh seafood like oysters and sashimi to American fare like buffalo wings and burgers to Asian favorites like Indian Tandoori, Malay Laksa, and Thai Tom Yums...phew, we still not come here mainly for the food, but for the ambiance, nostalgia and the views.

The soup dumplings and beef stew noodles are to die for here! Also the winter melon tea and boba milk tea was light and fluffy - perfectly Taiwanese! Very cute decor would definitely come back!

    Felix at The Peninsula

MUST GO for drinks after dinner. Can skip lunch and dinner here. Philippe Starck's furniture is trendy yet timeless. Highlight experiences of this restaurant is the lift and the toilet.

    M on the Bund

    10 reviews

M on the Bund is a cool, high-end restaurant with great views of The Bund itself (if you get a table by the vindows that is). The food is very good, but is served in fairly small portions. They often have lunch deals which are good value. This is a place for people looking for a high-end lunch or dinner ...

    Kabb Bar & Grill

Food is ok and this place is always busy. Good for brunch outside on a Sunday. Service could be better.

    Margaret's Cafe

    8 reviews

The best egg tart in town. It is always full, people are waiting in line outside. You'll see why when you have the first bite. The crust is pie-like, different than others in town.

    Australia Dairy Company

Awesome egg white pudding here; not to be missed. There's always a line, even during off-peak hours. Bring a book and be prepared to wait.
