Another long-standing vendor at Pike Place, and with good reason. The cherry is one of Washington State's proudest agriculture products, especially sweet Bing and firm Rainier varieties. You'll definitely find plenty of fresh cherries at one of the market stands, especially in the summer, but Chukar is the place to go for great cherry flavors in the off-season. They make preserves, pie fillings, candies and a lot of other really delicious stuff from the Montgomery family orchard in the nearby Yakima Valley.Recommended for:

They have an amazing assortment of chocolate covered nuts and berries, each one better than the last. It was extremely difficult to actually pick a couple to buy, but we ended up getting a bag of dark chocolate covered cherries and milk chocolate covered raspberries. Both are amazing.Recommended for:

I was so excited to find Chukar Cherries at Pike's Place Market. They have so many varieties of dried berries, but I was excited about the chocolate covered ones. The staff is very friendly and will give you samples of any item they sell to make sure you like it before you buy it. I ended up buying my two favorites, the Black Forest Cherries (dark chocolate covered bing cherries) and the Raspberry Truffle (white chocolate raspberry covered cranberries).
