The iconic image of Disney World would have to be the Magic Kingdom's Cinderella Castle! Honestly there isn't really much to do at the castle other than to get your classic Disney shot standing in front of it. Oh and enjoying the fireworks display in the evening!

Dreams come true daily for kids who get to have breakfast with princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table, atop the iconic castle in the Magic Kingdom. Cinderella (the hostess, naturally) guides you up a red-carpeted spiral staircase to a themed restaurant overlooking the park. Cinderella and all her princess friends glide through the castle’s dining room, making a personal appearance at ...

Fish lovers unite at this Colonial-themed counter-service restaurant in Liberty Square. The fried-fish basket, the New England clam chowder, and the lobster roll, served with house-made chips and broccoli, are fan favorites. Lighter options including grilled salmon with couscous and steamed broccoli will make you smile.

It seems completely chaotic and a bit messy but the food offerings are decent and there is something here for everyone to choose. There is Rotisserie Chicken, Angus Burgers, Pulled Pork and salads. They have an excellent "fixin's" bar to add toppings to your burger or chicken sandwich. Seating is not always easy to find. This is a very busy ...

If you're looking for something a little different from the typical burgers and chicken nuggest you find a many of the WDW quick-service restaurants, this is a great choice. (And so is the Columbia Harbour House.) Pasta and salads are the highlight of the menu. I had the chicken caesar salad, and DH had the chicken penne pasta. Our son ...

One of the nicer, more upscale restaurants at Disney. Located at the Grand Floridian resort, it is not in the main hotel building but further down by the water. Here, you have a really nice view of The Contemporary Hotel, Space Mountain and the Magic Kingdom. If you time it right, you even get a view of the fireworks show ...

Great place to have dinner and watch the fireworks at Magic kingdom. They have a huge wine list and an extensive menu. They just reinvented the entire restaurant. A bit pricey but a wonderful experience. Great for adults or families. not a loud obnoxious atmosphere.

Big and spacious with a surprisingly free toppings bar, Pecos Bill's is one of my favorite places to eat in the Magic Kingdom. It's overpriced and low quality theme park food but the free toppings bar is what elevates this place above the rest. As a low carb eater, I always opt for their taco salad. You'll be served a ...

Part of the allure of a character meal at Chef Mickey's is getting there. The Contemporary Resort is on the monorail. As a child I thought the monorail was the coolest thing ever. I still do. So, I make the monorail ride as exciting for my kids as dining at Chef Mickey's. There's nothing wrong with an extra side of ...

Theme park food is bad. We all know that. Casey's doesn't serve the best hot dog you've ever had -- heck, it's not even that good of a hot dog at all -- but it's one of the more quality meals you can buy while being held captive by Disney in the Magic Kingdom. For about $12 you'll get a ...

If you want fancy-schmancy at Disney World, Victoria & Albert's is your place. It's almost too fancy for me, though. Don't get me wrong - I love gourmet cuisine and the pomp & circumstance that surrounds it. However, having to worry about a strict dress code while on vacation is not my cup of tea.

Disney excels at many things. Where can you dine at so many completely different “destinations” and experience so many different foods? Artist Point is a fabulous spot for dinner. It’s located in the Pacific Northwest, er, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. I can recommend the Butternut Squash Risotto. It’s absolutely dreamy. Want something that’s warm & cozy, but not quite what you’d ...

This is a fast snack spot nestled between The Hall of Presidents and Cinderella's Castle. It's well hidden, shaded and a nice little hideaway. You would think they only serve funnel cakes and popcorn but they also serve a chicken and wild rice soup. Odd eh? It's a great spot to pick up a rootbeer float and relax.
