I visited louis vuitton new bond street london hoping to look at a bag I liked and have a pleasant experience. But it was by far the most annoying and disappointing experience I've had at any store. After browsing I asked a lady staff to show me a bag which I pointed out. Instead of servicing me, she whisked me ...

One of my favourite streets for shopping. Here you will find most of the designer boutiques and unlike the big department stores, the one off stores are usually calm and easy to walk around. Also a small Fenwicks is here - a great little high end department store

I really enjoy Smythson's notebooks and diaries, especially the tactile feel of the fine leather and the light pale blue paper. Besides Greater London (including Heathrow), Smythson products are available online and at their New York City Store. And (gasp) occassionally (and carefully) you can obtain a good deal on ebay. My annual splurge is to buy the Schott's Miscellany ...

Beware the aggressive squirrels! It may look like a calm and peaceful patch of green in the middle of a metropolis, but look out for the feisty furballs in the trees. They want whatever it is you're snacking on, and they'll stop at nothing to get it!

I stopped by here to visit the British Museum. It's a great place to just relax and enjoy the view for several minutes. Very touristy, but I enjoy talking to people. Keep an eye out for thieves/scammers in this area, though I suppose this is true for any touristy spot.

Perfect for a spring day's stroll from Trafalger Square to Buckingham Palace! Not one of the biggest parks in London but a little more low key and extremely well maintained. Perfect place to have a picnic!

One of the biggest parks in London located right next to Hyde Park one of the other largest parks in the city. I had a little picnic just sitting on one of the many benches. The best museum in London, with amazing medieval triptychs and a good selection of Flemish Masters, including the iconic Arnolfini Marriage by Jan Van Eyck. Lot of Leonardo here, too. Great bookstore...the one downstairs is bigger.

London's ultimate high street, Oxford Circus and Oxford Street are usually packed with shoppers. Selfridges' windows and the biggest M&S in town are the highlights, along with a great coffee shop called Joe and the Juice.

A week in London is hardly complete without high tea, and Fortnum and Mason is the place to do it. Choose a sweet, savoury or classic tea, with champagne or without, and relax to the afternoon strains of the live pianist. Our tip is to order one "tea" for every two or three people in the party, unless everyone wants ...

I just loved walking around saying to myself, "Hey, I'm on Carnaby Street!" It's such an iconic image from my past, Twiggy, the Beatles and the fashion world of the sixties. There are some neat little shops, and when I was there a unicycle riding juggler. You might like that, or perhaps not.
