The famous home of Claude Monet is just a short train ride outside of Paris. The house is a typical French home that has been maintained to the days of when Monet lived there himself. But what is the most breathtaking is the gardens. There are rows and rows of beautiful, vibrant flowers in addition to the famed pond and waterlilies and Japanese bridge. The beauty of this garden is almost unreal.

A very wonderful day. The gardens at Monet's house were so beautiful and the lily ponds were just as he painted them. To go into his house left as it was then and to step down into his studio was one of the things on my 'bucket' list. Well worth the day trip down there from Paris.
