I absolutely loved the Coconut Cottage Bed and Breakfast. The owners did an amazing job with this house. It’s beautifully furnished and the amenities are great. Hawaiian breakfasts with homemade breads, yogurt and tropical fruits are served every morning with 100% Kona coffee (yum), there’s a full kitchen and living room, and the back patio is a great place to relax. Each room is unique themed and decorated. Bathrooms are well-kept and the shared living spaces are cozy.
Located in the Pahoa rainforest, the property is surrounded by exotic plants and flowers. You’ll see a number of them just walking from the back of the property to the front. Ask the owners and they’ll tell you all about them.
Quite simply, this is one of the best B&Bs I’ve ever been to.Recommended for:Family Travelers

It is located off the main road in the rainforest of Pahoa. The property is a family home converted into a very nice B&B lodging. The owner decorated the rooms with clean and updated furnishings. Each room has its own theme. Common areas such as the living room, kitchen, and back porch were all nicely decorated and well-maintained. It is as comfortable as living at home. Breakfast with fresh local fruits, homemade bread, yogurt, and Kona coffee are served every morning.
The front and backyards are planted with lots of beautiful tropical plants. Just grab a cup of Kona coffee and relax on one of the lounge chairs out along the back porch.
You can also drive down the road to one of the shopping areas in Pahoa for food, or travel to the west end of the Pahoa road after dark to view the lava enter the sea.
Daily gourmet breakfasts are served every day, paired with 100% Kona coffee. The bamboo lanai overlooks a tropical garden filled with unique plants and flowers. A large DVD library is available for guests. Cable television and free wireless Internet are offered throughout the property. Laundry services are available for a surcharge.
Four different rooms are offered at Coconut Cottage B&B, each uniquely designed by theme. Furnishings are hand-picked by the proprietors. TVs and DVD players are available. Rooms include small refrigerators.
