On a lazy Sunday afternoon my wife and I decided to head into Denver for coffee at a unique cafe where we could hang for a few hours and read. I chose Coffee at The Point based on its glowing recommendation in Google Places. It's located at the Five Points intersection and the neighborhood seems like it might be sketchy at night but the cafe is huge, attractive and modern. The coffee beans they use are extremely flavorful. Their espresso tastes almost like it was mingled with amaretto. I had a grilled portobello sandwich, which was juicy and firm at the same time and oozed flavor. The barristas were extremely friendly and helpful without being at all in your face about it. We also enjoyed the black leather chairs and couches as well as the local artwork on the walls.Recommended for:
