For patrons in support of smaller, family/privately run business overshadowed by giant franchises like Starbucks, the Old California Coffee House is a big hit. Nestled at the corner of Old California Restaurant Row, the homestyle coffee house features outdoor patio dining on black iron furniture and brickstone groundwork, and open fire pits offer a warm gathering at night. Inside, expressive artwork adorns the walls, with loveseats, sofas, armchairs, and little coves offer private or more open coffee experiences. The menu(s) are expansive, and the friendly baristas will make you practically anything you want - any way you want it. Plus, their little baked goods window rivals anything Starbucks has to offer: like the giant turtle fudge brownie, which takes about 3 people to eat.
