We bought tickets for a half-day tour of Colonia Express, and got to the dock about 15 minutes early, only to be told that we'd missed the boat – we were supposed to be there an hour early. Nowhere in the purchasing process, in the email we received confirming our purchase, or the website, did we see any notification that we had to be there early. The guy at the counter acted like we were total morons and wasting his time, and told us it was in the email and we should have read it more carefully. So I pulled out my phone and showed him the email, in which there was no notification, so then he said, “Well, it's obvious that you have to be hear earlier, it's an international trip.” Well, maybe it should have been obvious to us, but it wasn't. We asked for a refund and they refused to give it to us. We're now trying to get our credit card to reverse the charge. We're pretty bummed because we wanted to go to Colonia. If we have another chance, we'll go with another company – we just didn't like how we were treated by this company when there was a problem.
