This is the tallest building in downtown Seattle and you get great views from the public observation deck. There is also a Starbucks on the 40th floor (if you want to sit or avoid the small fee to get to the observation deck).

Wow. My professional association had a leadership dinner here at the Columbia Tower during a recent conference. The view is A-MAZ-ING....
After taking the elevator up to the 40th floor, we were escorted out to another elevator to the 75th floor. 75 you ask?? Yes, and upon entering the top level, we were directed up one last flight of stairs to where our reception and dinner was held.
I had heard about the amazing view but had grossly underestimated it! The lights of Seattle mingled with the beautiful waterfront was simply breathtaking.
As for the food...."meh", I can't say it was too memorable. The menu consisted of an Apple Brie Salad, Surf and Turf (Gulf Shrimp with Fillet) Main Course, and a Pumpkin Cheesecake. The pass trays with hors d'oeuvres were not too shabby either. But I have to say that for a site that was so beautiful, I expected the food to be a bit higher quality.
Hands down, the Columbia Tower is all about the view and spectacular service. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back!!
