Fish lovers unite at this Colonial-themed counter-service restaurant in Liberty Square. The fried-fish basket, the New England clam chowder, and the lobster roll, served with house-made chips and broccoli, are fan favorites. Lighter options including grilled salmon with couscous and steamed broccoli will make you smile.

If you're looking for a quick-service restaurant with more adult options, try this one. The lobster roll was delicious, and my husband's salmon was too. Maybe skip the pre-packaged PB&J for the kids and go for a different option for them.
On a subsequent visit, we opted for the salad main dishes, which were a wonderful change from the standard theme park fare.Recommended for:

This is one of my favorite counter service restaurants at Magic Kingdom. It's down by The Haunted Mansion and has an early American feeling to it.
While they serve typical counter service fare, what I like here are the tuna sandwich and clam chowder. Both are satisfying and delicious.
There is additional seating upstairs, if it is open, which is usually pretty quiet.
