To my surprise, it was just as good, if not better, than Keller's original French Laundry. In addition to maintaining its top notch reputation by presenting some of the world’s best tasting dishes, the restaurant carries a certain elegance that none of his wine country establishments do. With a contemporary and elegant flair, Per Se embraces a certain beauty that ...

Service is top notch at Jean Georges - the waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing. Food is overall very good, though not every dish is amazing. My personal favorite is the spring pea soup with parmesan cream sauce - delicious and bright.

This is one of the hot new restaurants in New York - run by the same guys who own Alto and Convivo. It is very expensive, so don't go unless you are looking to lighten your wallet. But the food is amazing. Italian fresh seafood with homemade pastas. Had a pasta with clams, calamari and red chilies - it was ...

Best service I've had in a restaurant, possibly ever. Amazing food, super fine dining, and more reasonably priced that you'd expect for all of that. We had 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, cocktails AND dessert, for less than $200. For a restaurant of this quality, that is unheard of.

We went to this restaurant at the Columbus Circle for lunch on our recent visit. We were one of the earlier customers, so we easily got a table with picturesque views of the Central Park with Christmas Market happening there on a cold December day. The service was nice (if you don’t count that our waiter offered us wine menu ...

Don't get confused by all the faux Halal Guys in the neighborhood! I don't think this place is mind-blowing, but it sure does hit the spot after spending the day walking around this massive city.

The Shake Shack does a good burger with completely fresh ingredients. It doesn't try to make the burger big, just good. It's in the same class as In 'n' Out or Five Guys, but not quite as good. The strawberry milkshake I had was a bit runny where I prefer really thick shakes. The Shack-ago dog imitates the Chicago style ...

Daniel Boulud’s Michelin-three-star restaurant has enchanted diners since opening in 1993 and got a 2008 refresh from celebrated designer Adam D. Tihany, who paired Neoclassical archways and high ceilings with custom-made chandeliers with Limoges porcelain tiles and paintings by Spanish artist Manolo Valdés. The equally eye-catching dishes change seasonally and are offered à la carte or via tasting menus. A ...
